Insanely Heavy Poles & Nearly Impossible To Assemble Alone

I only bought this tent because they were out of stock, of the 4 person version. The poles for this tent are overly heavy & in multiple pieces making assembling the tent a minimum of a two person job. It is nearly impossible to assemble alone unless you are McGyver.

Vestibule Makes It

My wife and I have been happily using this tent for years because it is big enough for two people plus our suitcases and still room for an entrance rug inside. If you are challenged by going to the outhouse late at night, the vistibule has room for a porta potty and a dry place to leave dirty shoes. One problem: set-up is complicated and hard to do in the dark, especially if you haven't done it for a year or two. Add rain and you have a ball of pulp for instructions.

This Baby Can Take A Beating

I was unaware camping for 6 months where I am came with insane winds. They kick up so often I can never be sure of when to take it down so I stopped. It's never fallen down, only had a guy wire pull up on the vestibule but the rest stayed strong. It's made it through monsoon style downpours and not a single leak. Took me a bit, but I can set this up alone no problem. I think it's my favorite tent I've ever purchased. My only complaints would be some of the sewing is messy, they didn't cut off all the excess fabric and that there should be 2 more guy wires on the front corners.

It Held Its Own.

Took it out for a 4 day trip to test it out before I used it with my boys. Was on the waters edge, the entire area was rocky. From small pebble size, to rocks the size of my fist. Had high winds for almost 2 straight days, and heavy rain for one of those days. The tent performed beyond expectations. My ONLY gripe is that it takes a MINUME of 2 people to set up this tent.

Absolutely Horrible Tent

I am typing this at 3 in the morning while inside this tent, and I have to keep on pushing on the sides to stop it caving in from the wind. The setup was overly complicated because the poles were unmarked. The poles didn't fit in the tent as shown on the box. I've set up many tents before and this one was near impossible to set up without more than 2 people. Overall, this tent is absolutely horrid for the price, it's hard to put together, it has no wind resistance, and it tends to buckle over pressure. Do not buy.
