Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality I received my Fit Charge HR Christmas 2015 and have used it very little in the last year and a half. The band is falling apart and it will no longer work. I called Fitbit about this and they said there is a 1 year warranty on the device even though they know that this is a known issue with this particular device. I know several other individuals who had their Fitbits for just over a year and they have fallen apart too. All Fitbit offered me was a 25% discount to purchase a new unit. No thank you. I will never buy another Fitbit product. Total waste of hard earned money. I do not blame Dick's but wanted to make sure to submit a review to make people aware of this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fitbit Charge 2 Bought my Fitbit Charge 2 five weeks ago. I was disappointed that it doesn't allow you to set a wake up period to wake up at a "good" time. But this didn't matter much after 4 weeks when it totally stopped tracking my sleep. Also, inconvenient to monitor heart rate in an exercise mode. Hard to tap it when I'm pedaling 18-20 miles an hour on my bike! I'm returning it tomorrow and kinda thinking I'm leaving the Fitbit movement. hard to say if I'd recommend this product. If you need to know how many steps you took in a day or be reminded to walk every hour then go for it. Otherwise skip it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Unhappy with Set Up Requirements Disclosure When I bought this Fitbit. I did not read on the package nor was I not told that I had to have an iPad or iPhone, with a specific soft ware to set up the Fitbit. After I bought the Fitbit, I found out to my dismay that my iPad and iPhone were too old to complete the set up. then of course I was not told or read on the packaging that my laptop required to be wireless. which caused me to have to be sent a dongler. Then I was told that I needed have Windows 10. I had Windows 8. So I had to spend over $100 to get Windows 10. Then I was told that the set up could have been completed with 8.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit bit hr 2 vs fit bit hr I really like my Fitbit hr. The hr 2 sounds good you e added other features. The one feature that is not mentioned is WATERPROOF? It really isn't water resistant. If you perspire while working out you have to make sure you dry it off all the time. I walked some of the boardwalks this summer. It happened to be Coney Island. It was 106 in the shade. Fitbit hr, was working then it wasn't. Then replaced. You need to make all frackers waterproof. Not only for the above mentioned reason. I would love to see what swimming laps in a pool would calculate on the frackers. Also wish I knew you were coming out with a second one. I just bought 4 more for family members

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best fitness tracker I had the Charge HR and needed an upgrade as the clasp broke and was falling off easily. I am glad that I made the purchase as the Charge 2 is so much better than the HR and now has changeable bands, more functionality, better display and more recognized exercises for someone who does different types of exercise. Overall very happy with this purchase and think it is worth every penny.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product not Accurate I bought the Fitbit primarily to monitor my heartbeat and activity level while working out. The Fitbit was very inaccurate with respect to both. I worked out twice on an elliptical machine that monitors both of these things and the readings were very different. I then checked my heartbeat myself and the Fitbit was very low. I could never get my heartbeat above 115 beats per minute on the Fitbit when it had gone as high as 169. I returned the Fitbit after 3 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great motivator! I bought this 2 weeks ago and it has been a great tool for motivation. By actually seeing your steps throughout the day, it helps to prompt you to get moving! I have enjoyed the competitive challenges that are offered through the app as well. Nothing like trying to out do a friend to get you stepping. I've been a little worried about the water resistance since I can get pretty wet with sweat during a good workout, but so far so good. Only thing is the heart beat doesn't always pick up with I'm "drippy" and I have to readjust the band on my wrist. I also love the sleep tracking ability. It can now monitor stages of sleep. It has certainly helped me be more aware of my own activity and prompted me to be more active so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falls apart, then stopped working. I bought mine from the East Madison, WI Dick's store in March, 2016. For the first year or so, I used it every day, and really liked it. But, wouldn't you know it, in April of this year - a month after the warranty expired - the band started falling apart. Apparently, this is a known problem, judging by other reviews. I tried gluing it back together, which worked for about two months, but that doesn't even work after awhile. Then, about two weeks ago, the electronics themselves stopped working. Now, the only thing it ever shows is the battery strength indicator; so it's now completely useless. When I spend that kind of money on something, I expect it to last for multiple years, not 13 months. I will never buy another fitbit product.
