Exactly As Promoted
I now have been using this for about 2 weeks. The main reason for getting it was to get my SPo2 readings. It's presented as EOV (estimated oxygen variation). I knew this in advance that I would not get a % number like a medical device. So far the graph meets my expectations in that I can see my variations during my sleep hours. The charge 4 has built in GPS and I was thinking to upgrade but then again I really just wanted SPo2 so saved a couple of bucks. The Bluetooth syncing has never failed me. The number of steps matches closely to my other fitbit device (One). With the One device I had to remember to bring it. With the charge 3, it is on my wrist 24 hrs a day. I did not think it would make a difference but never having to think about it does. So if I had to do this over I would do the same. There are kinks that are not well documented and you have to go online /forums to find them. eg my EOV graph would not show up, the call center did not provide much help or than acknowledge it is a known problem. But on the forums, I found that if you switch to the analog clock face the EOV graph does show up. The default clock face and others do not. Another kink, is that the EOV graph does not show up on the windows 10 laptop, No problem however on the phone. I use the laptop as my prime device . I'm sure they'll eventually get the kinks out.
