Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have had mine for Years I cannot complain the same as others. This ball has lasted me at least 3 years now. I use it as a slam ball and it has not cracked nor split on me. I'm not a small person and this is not a heavy ball for me so I can slam it pretty hard and get very good bounce with no added air. In fact I was reading the description on this ball again to make sure that I'm allowed to slam it, because I didn't want to have to go buy another and I've been getting harder and harder on it lately and only now found out it's inflatable to get more bounce but it's un-needed if you have strength enough to shoot it and dribble it like a basketball. So all in all I would recommend this ball.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Product Previously purchased a different type of medicine ball from another retailer but returned them because they weren't as rugged and high quality as these. I have the 8lb model as well. These are perfect for P90X2 workout to do push ups on, etc. Since they weren't currently in stock in the store they ordered them for me and shipped them to my house for free. Customer service at the Omaha Dick's was much better than my old home town of Nashville where teenagers were too busy texting on their cell phones and flirting with each other to offer any help to the customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected! I purchased this medicine ball for my husband and son upon their request to use with one another for strength training. When I saw the request from Dick's to provide a review I said to my husband "Hey, Dick's wants to know what you think of the medicine ball I bought you?!?!" His reply, "It's great! We love it!" So, there ya go...and to add, it's tough, sturdy and made of quality materials...you won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine for me! I’m a personal trainer and these work great for my clients in my home gym! I’m not sure what people did to break them but I haven’t had any issues. These are not slam balls people. Yeah I’m sure it will break if you throw it off a 10 story building or if your crazy girlfriend throws it out the window of your car while going 80mph on the freeway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and durable My wife and I bought three of these (12, 8, and 6lb) to take on walks. They have a very solid feel (we use them to balance on), and are tough (they hold up well as we bounce them on asphalt, which they do very nicely). We've only had them a few weeks, but we've used them a ton and they barely seem worn except for some coloring coming off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely would recommend this product Like the size -- I am a female CrossFit athlete and use this as part of a home workout doing weighed sit-ups -- it fits my hands better than the bigger balls. Also can use it to do "mountain climbers," could definitely use it for wall balls and med ball cleans -- all in all, it was the right choice for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from this product is not what it appears I work at a fitness club and we've broken two of them and they aren't even two months old yet. They look solid and well built but wear down very quickly and crack easily
