Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gear I bought the weighted vest about a month ago, soooo glad I did. Purchased to train and run in. Got the 20lb vest with adjustable weights, I use 12 lbs for running and up to 20lbs for squats and lunges . I'm a 55yr/old female, and I'm slightly top heavy. The padding on the shoulders is just enough to keep from causing pain and leaving marks or digging in. The adjustable straps make it optimal for wearing heavy or light clothing. I was going to order this item from Amazon, but Dick's priced matched!! Excellent Buy on a great product!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good vest so far Had this two weeks now, and it seems to be holding up so far. Using it for cross-fit/circuit training 45 minutes at a time 5x per week, and there have not be any tears or leaks at the moment, which I was particularly worried about, after purchasing the same brand for the 15 lbs vest (albeit a different construction, very cheap stitching), and all the metal beeds came out. Hard to do floor exercises with, but so far it's a good product and I'm happy I've bought it. If something changes I'll be sure to repost and addendum. I don't give 5 stars yet, because more time needs to be proven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought this vest a month ago and while it's comfortable to wear in workouts, the side seams of the outside weight pockets ripped within the first 2 weeks. When I asked about a return or exchange at Dicks, I was told they won't take apparel returns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game changer! I had been looking for a good weighted vest for a while and found this. It's a great starter-vest because you can change the weight from 2 to 20 pounds. I throw it on when I do my normal workouts. It can get a little uncomfortable at times, but it's worth it because the workouts become so much more intense.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weight vest It’s ok for the price but I wish I would have just gotten one with plates. I will probably use it for a year then upgrade to the kind they use in the CrossFit games. This one is just a little to bulky when doing push-ups

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ripped after less than a week! I used this vest 3 times and was on the treadmill when one of the bricks fell out and hit my foot! Before that it seemed a sturdy starter vest.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed in this article I am sorry but I had to return the vest, I thought it would be perfect for I was looking for a vest of 5lbs max and I could work up starting with 2lbs. Many women are small frame like myself and the vest was quite cumbersome to put on,( even without any weights) I was sure Dicks would have what I needed but it looks like I will have to put some weight cylanders in my jacket pockets and walk with them.Bone Density is a problem for older small frame women and you should consider making a sleevless Velcro vest (that is easier to get into than the one you are selling) Yours is too heavy on the shoulders, The vest should be lightweight and cylanders would be easier than those hard to remove sandbags.Thank you and I hope you could give this problem some consideration. Not everyone is a super jock, You could start appealing to older people who just want to stay fit. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Initially I thought these vest would do more hindrance than help. But I was wrong! I love this vest. It may take a few tries to get it adjusted to how you train, but its worth it. At first I found it a little difficult to adjust the straps for running. Now Its fine and It seems to really help with my endurance. You can start with 1 lb. or all 20 lbs.. I suggest adding weight as your endurance builds. If your serious about stepping it up, I recommend it.
