Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price. Not exact. This isn't the cheapest online price for grip iron plates. However, if you live near a Dick's store, see how much they are selling their 45 lb plates. Mine has them for $36, which is insanely cheap. You also get the added bonus of seeing the condition of these plates before you purchase, and not having to pay for shipping.Since these are not standardized plates, they have broader tolerances for their weights. I have six total of these, and they range from 44 to 46 pounds. I recommend weighing each one and writing in yellow or black paint or marker the actually weight so you can better load these on your bar for closer balance, and then switch sides during the exercise, if feasible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal, but know what you're buying This plates are great for the price, they are a tad smaller in diameter than olympic/standard plates but honestly its only an issue for deadlifts and bridges. I need more plates anyway so I'm going to buy larger 45 plates to compensate but these are great for someone who is just starting out and is looking for a good deal. If you are an experienced lifter who is particular about sizes, be careful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great plates I needed some 45 pound plates was seconds of buying some from rouge fitness to I realized the shipping cost so I decided to go to my local dicks and they were even on sale for like 40 a piece . I have to admit I was wondering about the fitment over my bar after reading some of the views but they fit perfectly . I am using a body solid Olympic standard lifting bar if that helps

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good price, quality. non-standard sizing. I've been buying these plates because they are a good value. I don't want to pay a fortune for a round lump of metal. I want it to weigh close to what it says on the weight. these plates fit the bill. the only downside is that they are smaller than the standard olympic plate diameter, so it's not as easy to get under the bar for a weighted bridge. I plan to fashion some blocks from scrap lumber to solve that problem.Bought online for in-store pickup. Pickup was very efficient... in and out quickly, no line. And no shipping charges that way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good solid plates I bought these plates for handling ease and because they were on sale. I have used them a lot for bench and for leg press. The diamater is smaller than normal so doing exercises like deadlift might be problematic. The weights are easy to carry around but they ring when you bang them together and it gets annoying. On several occasions I have had to go and physically grab the weight to get them to stop ringing. All things being equal this would not be my first choice but they work well in my home gym.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Smaller than normal plates This plate has a smaller diameter than normal 45lb plates, causing the bar to be lower when doing deadlifts/cleans/etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the correct size Just a heads up, these do weigh in at +/- 1 pound from 45 (which is accurate for weights this cheap) but they do not measure the correct diameter. They are about 15.5" diameter where "olympic" plates are 17.7". Thats about like practicing any floor pull with a 1" deficit. I was fairly enraged when I realized this. That being said, they are inexpensive. I'd reccomend the plates marked "standard barbell" that many other sporting goods stores have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The handles are very helpful Excellent product. The handles work realluy well in transferring weights onto & off of the bar. They make moving the weight around much more convenient than traditional, round weights without handles.
