Works Just Fine

It’s an Olympic ez curl bar. It’s not top of the line bar but it works. I curl 40kgs with this bar often. If you’re looking for top of the line then go buy top of the line. If you just need a bar to curl with then this is a good choice.

Great Addition To My Garage Workout Space

Bought this a few months back, I really have no complaints. Don't know why so many bad reviews. I've have NO issues.

80 Lb Weight Capacity

Fortunately I looked at the user guide that fell out of the box before using it. That's how I learned it had an 80 lb weight limit. I'm taking it back.

Ok, Rusts, Poor Chrome, Noisy

I owned this for about a year ... during that short time it rusted on the handles a lot... poor application of the chrome. By comparison I bought the olympic set from this company. The olympic bar that came with that has almost none and i've owned it several more years. It is noisy as other reviewers mentioned... that doesn't bother me a lot. It is fairly solid construction overall... the rust is why i've subtracted so many stars. I guess I should have taken it back... but it was probably starting to rust after the return window. I have tried to contact the company a couple times and i have not received a response unfortunately.

I did spend on my normal Olympic bar but got this one to save money and get skull crushers in. First thing I did was a practice curl and noticed the noise. Shot some Blaster into the gaps on each end (pic) and no more squeak. Definitely glad I didn't pay more for this type of item. If you own a home gym you probably have Blaster anyways for pull downs, etc.
