Very good quality, comfortable grips, I like the capacity of weights it can hold. Only reason I gave it 4* is because the actual area that holds weights is not very long. You put a couple thick plates on and it's maxed out pretty quick. If you want to go heavy, you'll have to use 55s so you don't run out of space. But if you're staying under 300lbs, it would suit you just fine.

Listed Weight Is Wrong!
Just bought this to practice for Army fitness test, which requires a 60 lb bar. Website claims this is a 60 lb bar, but it is not! The physical packaging says 50 lbs, and weighing it myself confirms it is only 50 lbs. AVOID if you need an actual 60 lb bar! Other than the weight being wrong, product is fine.

Bar Is Only 50 Lbs. - Not 60 Lbs.
Just purchased this bar and look forward to using it. Website info is wrong!!! THE BAR IS ONLY 50 LBS. - NOT 60 LBS. as is stated in the current product description on the website as of May 25, 2025. After reading another review that stated this, the first thing I did when I got home was weigh the bar, the other reviewer is 100% correct. This is obviously critical information as you need to know how much you are actually lifting when tracking your progress. This takes nothing away from the product. It seems well made, is properly balance, has a strong and study construction. This issue is with DICK'S having incorrect information. I sent DICK'S a message, hopefully they will update the product description.

Works Great
Have been using this for a month and everything appears to be good. Good grip and balance on the bar.
