Terrible Design

The main problem here is that the nuts that they provide have a small plastic insert in them that do not allow you to thread the nut as far as needed to tighten everything in place. Instructions say you need an adjustable wrench to assemble, but you actually need 2 of them. One to hold the bolt head in place and the other to tighten the nut. You essentially have to just rip through the plastic insert on the nut to tighten everything. Who thought of that garbage? Why is it like that? Absolutely horrendous. Anyways, once you finally get it together it’s pretty solid and stable. However, the overall structure is too narrow. You have to take a pretty narrow grip or you will crush your hands on the rack when re racking. I don’t know, you can use it sure, but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re on an extreme budget and don’t mind a narrow grip.

No Instructions

I bought this and it came with no instructions. Does any one have digital manual i cloths get?

Unbuildable Due To Defective Parts

Can't even build it. First one of the rack legs was defective (screw hole not fully punched out). Took months to get the replacement part, wasn't able to return to store because it was slightly outside of return period. Then months later when I finally start to build it, the screws won't fully screw on. There's a piece of plastic blocking them from tightening. Very upset the first time I found defective parts and the second time, livid. Like come on. I just want a working bench. Should've just bought one on marketplace. Big mistake buying this. I wish I didn't.

Impossible to do incline press. The frame is too narrow as well.

Too Narrow For Everyone In My Family

I bought this for our newly constructed workout room and just put it together. It is too narrow to function as a bench press bench. Even my 12 year olds natural bench grip is right where the posts are. Not sure who this is designed for.

Good For What It Is.

If you wanna be Schwarzenegger, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a good bench for a light to moderate free weights work out. Ankle attachment allows for stomach crunches without getting on the floor. Pros: stable, sturdy, inexpensive Cons: not for hardcore gym rats

Heavyweight

My teenage son bought this to add weight to his barbell. Compatible with the Fitness gear barbell.

Not Good

This thing is not good. It is extremely narrow. Bench presses, military presses, squats...they are impossible because it is too narrow. The bar rests on the holders right where your hands should be and you'd want to grip it. Attempting to perform any of these exercises is incredibly uncomfortable and ineffective. There are no adjustments that can be made to correct it. The bar rests too far up the bench too, making inclined exercises impossible. The thing is flimsy, and on top of being forced to do exercises improperly, I am afraid the whole thing is going to collapse every rep I do. I know I am close to the bench's weight limit with loaded weights, and it sure feels like it. I regret purchasing this, and having owned many benches, this one is not properly designed or manufactured. The good only thing I could say is that it might be well suited to light weight lifting by a small framed person, like a high schooler starting out or a woman doing supplementary exercise.

Great Features

I bought this a month ago and already feeling the Pump!!!

Rings Of Bar Sit In Middle Of Rack Holder???

I was blown away after decades of benching to put this thing together and want to sell it. The bar centering rings sit in the seat of the rack. You have to adjust the bar after taking it off and readjust to put it back on or you pinch ur palms. Honestly blown away that it was made like this

It's Alright For A Small Frame

I bought this six months ago and as a guy I find it a little to narrow. It's sturdy but don't expect to do wide presses on it as the rack doesn't let you spread your grip

Excellent For The Price

Two of us have used mine for a year now and it has held up well. Not perfect, but pretty darn good for the price. Was easy to assemble.
