Dial Design Flaw

I bought this thinking it would be cool for my family to add resistance training in the pool. As the other reiviews stated, the dial to increase or decrease resistance moves to a wide open position and stays there when it is submersed in water. DSG normally does not tqke a return after it’s been in the pool but it is clearly a product flaw. I then tried the Speedo plate, because it happened to be at the pool and that works well because of the extra handles. I don’t work for Speedo and am writing this free of related sponsors.

Did Anyone At Dick's Test This Device? It Doesn't Work!

I agree with the other customers who have written that the adjustable resistance dial doesn't work. You can set it but once it hits the water it opens up fully, providing minimal resistance. This reminds me more of a cheaply made toy than an actual resistance plate to be used for serious exercise. Received it as a gift and I'm taking it back to the store today for a refund. Truly awful.
