The Five Ten Freerider Pro offers comfort, good traction, and a roomier toe box compared to most cycling shoes. While some reviews mention walking difficulties due to stiffness, I haven’t experienced any issues. I’ve worn the Specialized 2FO Roost as well, and both shoes are quite “sticky.” However, the Freerider Pro is slightly wider, fits me better, and is much easier to put on and take off than the 2FO. The 2FO seems to have a thicker tread, which might make it more durable, but I haven’t used the Freerider Pro long enough to determine its durability compared to the 2FO Roost.
