Durable And Waterproof!

I bought this bag 4 years ago and love it. It has held up perfectly over the years. It's small, so works perfectly for short hikes or everyday use. I used it to hike The Narrows, and even though was half submerged in water, the inside stayed completely dry. The entire design of the zipper on the fold with the hook is a bit clunky and not great for quick grabs, but I like the way it looks so I deal with it. If I had to choose a complaint, it would be that the side pockets are not easily accessible when wearing.

I Wanted To Love It.

I wanted this to have the ease of use like the smaller version with the zip closer. The floppy fold over is kind of annoying for me. I also hope that the designers allow buyers to choose the color of the interior of any bag. It’s easier with my eyesight to see what I’m looking for when the interior is a lighter color.

Disappointed

The bag had a tear in the first month with no rough usage. Didn’t expect that from such a trusted brand. Was more disappointed to find out there is no warranty or support for such defects.

Overall, it's a decent backpack, but there are a few drawbacks. The carabiner that secures the top part seems to stretch constantly, which might affect the backpack's integrity over time. Additionally, the straps are quite wide, which might not be comfortable for everyone.

Normal Backpack Overpriced

The bag is made with high-quality materials, and the zippers have worked well all the time. I've been using it for 3 years. It has two main problems: 1) The side pocket: if you have a slightly larger bottle, it doesn’t fit. If the backpack is already full, it’s impossible to put anything else in that pocket. 2) I’m not sure if others have the same issue, but I can’t use the backpack for more than 15 minutes without my back getting completely sweaty. I’ve never had this problem with other backpacks, but with this one, it’s impossible to avoid. I don’t know if it’s due to the materials or the design, but I always end up with a very sweaty back.

Not As Well Made/designed As The Original Style

Fabric is flimsier than the original design of this style- it’s the only style that seemed to change- also the zipper cuts down on the height. It had more capacity with the extended top and drawstring. Curious why the design was not improved on instead? From this designers stand point - it seems there’s a lack of effort on quality.

Zipper Is Terrible

Great lightweight bag, comfortable to wear but the zipper on the bag is not great. You have to squeeze the zipper area to try to get the bag zipped.

Terrible Waste.

The hoops where the top flap latches are too loose and it constantly unlatches. Also the zipper for the top/main compartment frequently catches on the bags material, making it impossible to open. I have had the bag for a week and am already looking for replacement. Very disappointing buy!

Perfect But Not So Perfect…

Quite happy with this bag. Except for the side pockets that are totally useless the minute the back is full. Can’t put anything in there. A mesh or stretchy fabric would be way more suitable.

Great Bag, For Every Day.

Comfortable backpack, I use it for work and it's held up amazingly well. The only issue I have is with the main compartment zipper getting jammed.

Water Proof Lining Disintegrating

I was really happy with this product when I first purchased it. My previous hiking back I purchased from them is still going strong after 10 years of use. However I would not recommend this product. As others have also experienced the interior lining has started delaminated after just one year of use. Really disappointing from a brand that prides itself on sustainability....

Great With Zipper Issue

Very useful, light and a lot of space for such a little backpack. Good material. One issue is zipper, when fully opened it get stuck, also it is impossible to close the zipper with one hand. I solved the issue by making a block few centimeters from end, so the zipper cannot be moved to the far opened position.

Light, Packable And Comfortable Travel Daypack

This daypack is a well-rounded minimal travel daypack. One large compartment that is expandable. Folds down flat so it can be packed. Comes with a couple of well placed straps for compression and stability (sternum strap). The bottom is made of a more durable material. It's not too hard to pack and make this backpack stand on its own. Looks great too! Small con: bottle side pockets can be hard to use if pack is full. Maybe stretchy side pockets would work better. Would suggest Fjallraven team explore two-tone color options in the future.
