Skip The Regular Kanken! Get This Instead.

Bought a 13" version 11+ years ago when it first came out and it's still going strong. Wore it as an EDC bag for a few years and now it serves as a day trip and air travel bag. Lots of wear, but no popped stitches and holes. What I like about this bag is that it's a straight upgraded, deluxe version of the regular Kanken with padded straps and a separate zipped compartment (the laptop pocket). I've never actually carried a laptop or tablet with this bag, but the compartment comes in handy to separate other things. The side pockets are pretty bad, though, like the regular Kanken's.

Perfect For Shorter People

If you are a shorter person with a 13" laptop, this bag is perfect. I am 5ft 3" and my things feel so much lighter in this bag because it fits well with the length of my back. The straps don't get in the way of arm swing, the laptop compartment is big enough to fit 13" laptop in a sleeve, and I can still fit all my other things in the main compartment. Perfect.

If I Could Only Own One Bag, It’s This One!

This is my go to bag! Just big enough to fit my laptop without being overly bulky. Great for a city day bag, side pockets are perfect for umbrella and small water bottle. When I’m not carrying my laptop, the back padded section is perfect for my wallet and other valuables, or items I want to find more easily. When traveling, I usually have no problem at museums, and just use the handles to carry like a bag. Also, fits great under the airplane seat.

Great Back Pack ,Easy To Wear Beautiful Colors

Been a fan of Fjallraven for a while , nice and good quality products ! I like this because apart from carrying my laptop i can carry my necessary things for a 3 days trip.

It is a very durable backpack, but lacks so essential features. It doesn’t have a place to store small things so you have to get the insert, and it doesn’t have a place for a bottle either. The straps are also really short so it’s hard to take off and on; the straps also press on my shoulders and make my arms go numb when carrying things in my bag. I would get one again but I would have to get a bigger one even though I have a 13” computer.

It's not the first kanken. But the first laptop. And again it's amazing. The pocket on the inside with the zipper is great. The size is perfect for me. I just love it.

Kanken Backpack Has White Marks

Recently bought a new Kanken Laptop 13" backpack and when I got it, it looks great. As soon as I got home and saw it in better lighting the bag had a bunch of white marks. I've had the bag for 3 days and every time I went over the bag with a damp washcloth it kept reappearing in random spots as soon as it dried. Even just running my hand over the bag creates the white marks.
