I bought the chest straps and it fits very tightly even expanded to the fullest. It would not fit anyone with chest bags.

My Kanken looks great in travel photos but it dug into my armpits badly. I got this chest strap as soon as I got home. It works but my complaints are: it doesn't come in orange / desert brown, and it's difficult to get on the straps. It is secure but it ruins the look I'm going for, which is a shallow complaint but aesthetics is why Kankens come in so many colors.

I bought this strap to add to a pack that my kid no longer used. Adding the strap has given the pack new life as I use it. I live in a rainy climate and this helps keep my pack secure as on my walking commute.

I have a very wide chest and I have these straps maxed out but they work really well these work with the shoulder pads as well
