Hard To Zip

It's so cute but it's not what I hoped for. I knew it would be small but it's smaller than expected. I can fit more in my uniqlo mini shoulder bagbag. I also find the zippers really hard to open and close, that was the main deal breaker for me, so unfortunately I am returning.

Compact, Well Designed, Highly Practical Bag

This bag has seen the world and still hangs around for daily use. Bought the sling for travel (fits the passport perfectly along with other essentials) and then stows perfectly withing the Kanken original size. It held up so well during my international travel that I use it now as my daily purse / bag. Good for sorting, good for carrying, and doesn't take up much space. Front pouch fits car keys, ear buds, and chap stick. It is a practical design - and makes other bags pale in comparison. Easy access for easy use. Highly recommended.

It is a small version of the Kanken backpack, except it is a shoulder bag and the side pocket aren’t very usefuI (you can have a pen, nut nothing else really). I ordered the green frost /pink peach but I found the pink peach was too bright for my taste and didn’t look the same as the picture. I returned it and it was a very easy process. I ordered a traditional black color that goes with everything. It is my everyday handbag. It is small but holds a lot. The little front pocket is tiny but perfect for a key-chain. The back pocket is perfect for the cellphone. The main pocket has everything I need, and the extra pocket is perfect for paper or passport. I highly recommend it if you want a small bag with large capacity.

I love my kanken sling. Its perfect for quick tuns or during trips when trying to keep small valuables with me. Waiting for a sling in the kanken Mini size so I can fit a book in there.

Most Amazing Go-everywhere Bag

This is my only go-everywhere bag that I take with me any time I leave the house. I’ve been using it for three years and I love it as much as the day I got it. I keep my phone in the back top-zippered compartment, and AirPods and lip balm in the small front pocket. In the main compartment slip pocket I have a notebook, pen, stain remover; in the rest of the compartment, I have alcohol hand spray, a pack of tissues, prescription glasses in their case standing up, and beside the glasses a Fjällräven pencil case in which I carry my must-haves (Advil, pocket knife, measuring tape, Bandaids, sanitary pad, alcohol wipes, nail file, hair elastic, eye glasses spray cleaner, snack). The glasses case and the Fjällräven pencil case stand up perfectly side by side, and in front of them I keep my Fjällräven Zip Wallet (filled with approximately 15 cards and cash). All of these items combined fit into the Sling without issue, and I can still put my large set of keys inside if I don’t want them in my pocket or clipped to the sturdy strap. In one of the side pockets, I keep a reusable bag. For a bag this small, it’s amazing all that it can hold, and it’s super comfortable to wear and have on all day. My one word of caution is to not wear the bag with any kind of delicate athletic/spandex-type clothing since the heavy-duty woven strap can snag or pull the fabric. For people who talk about colour transfer, please use common sense. If you buy the bag in a light colour, yes, of course, it will get dirty (the light colours make no sense to me and don’t blame the company for that)!! Similarly, yes, do not wear the bag in a dark colour rubbing against a white shirt. It’s obvious from the material of the Sling that colour can transfer in both ways. I have mine in Dark Forest (same colour as my backpack and several items of clothing) and absolutely adore it. I love how I can grab the bag by the handles or the long strap, how everything is securely zipped, how hard-wearing the material is, and how I can also hook things to the bag if necessary. I can’t recommend it enough.

I Love This Bag, But..

Bought a Kanken Sling, and I love the bag. The wear/patina starts showing soon but I love the weared look of the patina in these bags. The reason I give 4 starts instead of 5 is because the back of the Kanken Sling has the webbings (W shaped) of the same material as the hold, and those webbings cause pilling on clothes (specially the more sensitive materials).

After a month of use the bag looks 10yrs old. Faded and color worn off around all the edges. Fjallraven does not offer warranty for quality of the material . I would not recommend buying unless you want the old worn look

Perfect For Traveling Light!

This little but mighty backpack will be perfect for when I am abroad, which is twice a year for a month each time, because it is not heavy or too big for my frame. When I’m out and about sightseeing or hiking, I only need a few items, not a great big, heavy leather backpack. I will also use it as my every-day-carry as my handbag/purse. And the colors available are gorgeous. It is so well-made!

Perfect For Bag Breakers!

i usually hate splurging on bags because they never tend to last, but i’ve had my sling in clay for about two years now- i’m a super accident prone person, and i needed a bag that could deal with getting thrown around or beat up. it’s been handling that very well! there’s some minor discoloration/scratches on the bag, but all issues are solely cosmetic and would probably come out with a gentle wash :) carries a good deal of stuff (calculator, phone, glasses, etcetera) and i get tons of compliments on it. definitely worth buying if you’re a mess like me haha

I Love It

It has been over a year that i have my pink one and i still love it! she went with me on my hiking trip, theme park visits, as well as multiple beach trips. I just bought the black no.2 sling and loved it even more due to it being softer and no sharp edges.

Perfect Bag For People Who Aren’t Purse People.

This bag is the PERFECT size. I’m not a purse person, I prefer large pockets or waist bags, but this bag holds so much without being too heavy and it is a cute miniature of my standard Kanken backpack. The arctic green is my fave color!!

I bought it in the color Clay and I love it! The sling version in this colour it fantastic, you can fit lot of things even if it seems really small. I hope they will do more products and color combo using Clay
