I have a pair of these in each color offered and they have been the only shorts I wear in the summer. Quick drying softshell material that is reasonably thin. Great stretch. Nice little cargo pocket that doesn't stick out too much. Probably the BEST feature is that these are from before Fjallraven decided to put a stretch waistband on every_single pants and shorts in their lineup, ruining the aesthetics. These have a classic look appropriate for adults.

I have three of these shorts, and I wear them most of the day apart from work travel - around the house, hiking, biking, weight training, and leisure wear around town. The material is light, comfortable, and drys easily. My only complaint it is that the material stretches over time - meaning a 37" becomes a 38". Something to consider if you are buying for the long haul and intend on wearing them frequently. For me, though, it is not a deal breaker.

This is my second pair of these shorts because they have become my favorite hiking shorts. They fit snugly in the waist, but loose in the seat and legs. The pockets are the right number and in the right places. They don't show wear at all.

Perfect for hikes or any casual event. The stretch material provides plenty of ventilation while remaining tough and extremely comfortable. Waist sizing is spot on and length is my favorite. 10/10
Out of winter i prefer hiking in shorts. For this reason I have several pairs from well established brands. The Fjällräven Abisko Lite Shorts are head and shoulders above every pair I own. Totally reliable, supremely comfortable and exceedingly well designed. I have loads of Fjällräven kit including trousers, t shirts, shirts, jumpers, jackets, bags and other accessories. Not one piece of Fjällräven kit has ever let me down. Whether trekking across Dartmoor, walking the South West Coast Path or hiking Vatnajökull in Iceland, Fjällräven is my outdoor kit of choice.

I've tried them all and this is the most comfortable for me due to the material and gussetted crotch.
