These are closer to what winter adventurers need for a softshell pant from Fjallraven, but true to form they drop the ball and leave out some key features. Also to note. If you know your IMPROVED FIT size, you are going to need to size up one size for these to fit. For some reason, even after the confusing change to the improved fit, these pants don't even follow the new standard. I suppose the real new standard is Fjallraven sizing is all over the place. Good: -No G-1000 (except for belt loops and inside pockets) no one wants cotton fabric in the snow, wax or not. -Zippers on the main pockets. Somehow you left these zipper off Keb Agile Winters. No one wants to drop stuff in the snow. Always zipper on the pockets. Bad: -No boot hook. Why not? -No side vents - winter activities generate heat and winter adventurers need a way to dump heat. This is standard, yet you left them off. - No suspender loops. Fjallraven does very poorly with suspender/bracers they need a full overhaul on how they handle that. -Side Pocket There is a bizarre side pocket on the right side that opens like a vent, but actually goes back behind your knee. This is possibly the worst pocket placement ever... and only one of them so you can just use it as a side vent... or you can side-vent only one leg. lol -Same 3 boring colors. No fun allowed at Fjallraven. Depression colors only!

Good Pants, Naturally, But…
Love the pants as usual, excited to wear them this fall/winter. Curious design choice to put a side pocket that goes reverse to how pockets normally do. If I place my phone in the pocket it then is resting on the rear of my thigh which I genuinely do not understand.

The Perfect Winter Over Pants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really surprised how warm these kept my legs! Wear these over jeans or thermals and haven't been cold at all, and it was-10 today. Pros: Fit, style and detail is superb! Warm and protective Cons: The fleece lining can get hung up on whatever they're going over, mainly when taking them off. A minor inconvenience They are very expensive Absolutely worth it for me, I have used them almost everyday this winter and stayed warm without sacrificing any movement, or hearing a constant swishing noise!

Perfect Winter Pants
These are great pants! Just the right amount of lining for me in Chicago winter when it's cold out - keep in mind I generally run warm, but this helps me avoid wearing leggings/long underwear on the real cool days. Zippers are well designed and I like the phone pocket on the right leg. Sizing, for me, seems about right. No complaints whatsoever!

Size
All my trousers from Fjallraven has size 52, except for this one, 52 was really to small.
