The Most Comfortable Shorts I Have Ever Worn!

I bought these shorts at the end of last year and they probably the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn. Great design and the deep map pocket is very secure if you want to keep a wallet safe. They are a bit stiff due to to water repellent coating but wear in. Great product, great materials and very comfortable to wear.

Great Comfort

I’ve had these for two years and they are the best shorts for walking and hiking. Comfortable and loads of pockets.

Good Bargain Over Winter Sales

Durable and great length of a pair of shorts however slightly tight around hips. Nice colour too.

Top Shorts

I have several shorts, the most from Fjallraven and those are the best. The Barents Pro short alsoo very durable and fits perfect.

My Best Shorts Ever

Literally. I've bought my first pair in 2007 and I'm still wearing them, did not have to repair them at all, and were my only shorts for 5 years in a row (I didn't choose to wear any other). I really like the upgraded mobile phone pockets, it doesn't disturb you at all even when cycling, and I can comfortably put an umbrella in the axe pocket without even feeling it. The positioning of the pockets are great, they can only be disturbing when you fully stuff them, but that can be a really handy option, when you do not have a bag with you. I also like that there are no back pockets, it is much more comfortable for me like that when walking, and I can sit anytime, no need to remove my things from the back. Yes, they are expensive, but if you consider the durability it is a very good offer. I am buying the third one after 16 years. The one I've bought 3 years ago looks like new, but the material becomes softer with the time. And they just look so cool, love them!

Everything I Expect From Fjallraven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality, great fit, and tough as nails. Everything I've come to love and expect from all my Fjallraven clothing. Understand that these are essentially Barents/Vidda Pro pants without legs so they are thick and require break-in. Perfect for late spring or early fall but maybe a little warm for middle of summer heat.

Version A Bit Longer

I like the 🩳, it is a pitty you do not make a longer version just over the knees……🙃

Great Hiking Shorts

I have used these short on several hikes over the last year and they are fantastic. Seems like most well established US companies supposedly specializing in outdoor clothing keep eliminating features to hold a certain price point. Their products might be sufficient for shopping mall hikers but not for me. Clearly these shorts were expensive; however, I am thankful that someone still makes incredibly durable hiking shorts with multiple well-placed pockets. Thank you Fjallraven for your no compromise approach to outdoor clothing.

My Favorite Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought them since I own so far 2x Barents pants (bought two just before they were discontinued) and 1x Barents Pro pants. The shorts are a little more narrow in the waist vs Barents Pro pants, but a good fit. Got 38", but are more like 37" if compared to jeans (Wrangler and Levis)

Great Trekking And Traveling Short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of Barney’s Pro I also have a pair of Barney’s shorts A little bit different pocket design with the Pro but the same high quality short

I Have Many Shorts. I Only Wear These.

I like pockets but not back pockets. These are a bit pricey but worth it. Please keep making them. Not all active people are slim. I’m not, and these fit great.

Versatile Durable Great Overall, No Back Pockets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is very durable and tough, doesn't seem to get easily scratched or pulled and it is NOT stretchy. The overall design is really versatile, from daily wear to chores around the farm to hiking. The hatchet/multitool pocket is really useful for carrying my multitool, which lives with me at all times. The fit is slim but not tight. Wish it had back pockets. Also love the Barents pants which have basically the same pocket design.

Badass Shorts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting some of the Barents Pro or Vidda Pro trousers for some time now. Still plan on getting some, especially now that I know how much I love the shorts! But I didn't actually know these shorts existed until recently, really glad I discovered them and went for it. Being from Oklahoma, it isn't out of the question to have warm fall days that shorts are adequate so wearing these into the next season is doable. Also good to acclimate for the next season anyway. But during the hot and humid summer here, not a chance I would want to wear pants, let alone the trouser version of these being as the material is thick and tough. You can tell these shorts are tough just by feeling the G-1000 material Fjallraven is known for. However these shorts are quite breathable. Really cool pockets, however no back pockets. I knew this long before I found these that the trousers don't have back pockets. I've seen reviews of people complaining about this... read some reviews, watch some YouTube videos..jeez. I like to know what I'm getting, so research is key! I still go to put my phone in my back pocket when I'm wearing these, but it isn't bothersome to me. What I do know about Fjallraven is their gear is meant to take a beating and I'll be putting that to the test. Not that I really doubt it though. Between reviews, YouTube, and discussions with friends who have the trouser version I knew these shorts were for me. Hope this helps! GET OUTDOORS!!
