Great Fleece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely warm and comfortable. I love the collar when zipped all the way, fits like a turtleneck.

Fjallraven Is Disappointing For Quality/function

Love the look of this fleece. Owned it for about 2 years now, in graphite. Disappointed with the quality. Stitching has unraveled at the base of the zip. I mended it myself as in Europe no repair service offered - what is that about for a 'Swedish' company? It is cut a bit short. Fjallraven overall have been disappointing for me - G1000 no use at all in the rain, and the hype around that is silly. Fashion brand really, which I fell for more than once. Tents seem better made.

Nice Jacket

Nice, warm jacket that can be worn to work or casually.

DWS

Hello All, I bought my first FJALLRAVEN Buck Fleece Jacket in November 2024, I am extremely disappointed with the pilling.

Looks Great. Quality Is Questionable

Love the look of this jacket and it warm. However I’m disappointed with the way it’s wearing. The a Insides of the arms are pilling really bad. This shouldn’t be happening to a jacket at this price

Bring It Out In Black

Probably my favourite fleece. I own two. My first in dark olive is about 5 years old stood up well through outdoors work and chores got a bit bobbled but I gave it a shave not long ago and it looks as good as new. Second is a Navy one bout a year old I save for best. No bobbling or damage looks great both wash well and have good warmth. I Keep checking back for a black one but to no avail.

Unique And Good Look

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this after my favorite KUHL jacket of a similar design gave it up…pilled, zippers tore, etc. Anyway, bought the Fjallraven a size smaller to be more form fitting and as a warm solo in just cool weather and under layer when cold. I’m 5’11” and 185. This jacket is now my favorite. Tighter weave, no pilling expected, warmer and a great fit. Yeh, the zippers aren’t great but they won’t snag due to they are protected with flaps(?). Plus there are cinches in the side pockets. Not sure how they work but we’ll see.

Perfect In-between Sweater And Jacket Option!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect zip sweater/jacket option. Greatly made and looks smart. Ideal for layering or on its own. Bought this for a trip to BC Canada and wore it most of the time. Perfect with a puffy jacket or under a thin rain coat when you need that extra layer.

Everyday Wear

I bought this jacket for my husband a month ago, and he wore it during our trip to London. It's nice jacket for daily wear.

Love This Fleece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great looking fleece! The fit is a little slim and very comfortable with plenty of length in the arms for someone tall, slim, and lanky like I am. And the size chart is very accurate. Size small is just right for a 6 foot tall, 135lb weirdo like me. The material itself feels quality with a very tight knit in the polyester fabric. It's light and not too thick and still provides the mid-level warmth I was hoping for. The long collar also zips all the way up comfortably just in case the wind starts blowing too. The shoulder material is also pretty great if you're in and out of a backpack often. One gripe I do have is that the pockets aren't fully insulated. They're more of a mesh material on the inside, so they don't do a fantastic job of keeping bare hands warm, especially if its windy. Not a big enough issue to drop a full star off, but might knock it down to 4.5/5 if I had the option.

Geat Fit And Warm But...

This fits great and it's very warm, but the stitching inside the collar is already coming undone and the seam is coming apart. Have had this only for about 5 months now.

Good Mid Layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it's a good fleece jacket, thick enough to keep you warm with an outer jacket. However, it is definitely a mid-layer as far as it is by no means windproof. So I would not rely on it without a shell layer. Do not be misled by references to the reinforcement by G-1000 fabric. There are just small accents on the shoulders, more of a design feature than any practical functions. This fleece is true to size. A high and tight collar is a real lifesaver in winter, as well as a drawcord at hem. A big pro is that the fleece has a nice texture, trendy accents like leather pullers on zippers, and a tight fit. Hence you may wear it both on a trail and out in a city or office.

Love It And Oh So Soft!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 in different colors about a month ago and they are amazing! Imagine a soft warm perpetual hug even in the coldest of winds. Imagine zipping up and all the way to your neck and have a great seal, at the same time you can unzip a little and the air comes rushing in to cool you off. Great quality and even if you sweat the materials are really good quality and stay dry. Plus the front pocket is awesome you can fit a few things in there and it won’t bother you.

Favorite Fleece

I have MEC, and Arc'tyrex fleece but the Buck is by far my favorite. Love the high collar and over all look of it. I'm 6' 190 and find the large a bit big. I will definitely buy another color in a medium

Love It

Comfort and warm at normal conditions. The fabric is breathable, so you can still wear it for hiking. A friendly reminder, as shown from the intstruction, do not put this product into dryer.
