I’ve had this jacket (Deep Forest colour) for a year now, and from day one, it became my favourite. As an active climber in the Alps and the UK hills, I want to give some honest feedback. Pros: 1. Lightweight 2. Very stylish—great for city wear Cons: 1. The sizing runs small, so you’ll need to size up. Even then, the collar feels tight around the neck when zipped up. 2. The zip constantly pulls open from the bottom during any activity—I’ve found that it opens up about a quarter of the way on its own. 3. It has zero water resistance. Even in light rain, I experience water ingress between the baffles on my back. The insulation also separates completely under the armpits, allowing water to seep straight through. Despite Fjällräven's claims, this jacket offers insulation in wet conditions. I’m a huge fan of Fjällräven gear, have loads of it—it's usually high quality and built for extreme conditions. However, something went wrong with this jacket, whether in design or testing. For the price, it simply doesn’t perform as it should.
