Best Bag I’ve Ever Owned.

This is my favorite bag I ever owned in my 63 years. Owned it for 3 years now and it gets constant use. Can store more than you think for its size and I love that backpack straps don’t get in a way if you don’t want use them. Absolute genius design in every respect, I wish they’d make one size up but identical setup - for those weekend trips. Can’t recommend it enough.

Best Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is the best and such a cute color, I just wish there was more compartments

Couldn't Ask For More.

Bottom line: amazing backpack. Suits my day by day strolls in the city, for work, weekends. Besides, it has a great design. The size is ideal (20L). Couldn't ask for more.

Less Is More Was Never Truer

This is currently my favorite bag. I've had it for four or five years and its versatility never ceases to amaze me. It is my only bag on a one-week trip to warm climate, fitting 7 days of men's clothes, toiletries, plus laptop. It was a last-minute trip, so just wanted something I could fit under the seat on an airplane. Stowing the straps makes that so much easier than with other bags. You have to pack pretty minimally and I ditched the packing cubes to make everything fit, but it's working great so far. No room for water bottle, so I just bought one at the airport and carried it in my hand. I've taken this on a few, long, strenuous day hikes, and when you cinch down the backpack straps tightly, it remains very comfortable, even with heavy water bottles in tow. Really amazing considering how little padding there is when compared to all the overbuilt bags coming out these days. Originally purchased for work and it excels at that too. Stands up very nicely when full--but if only partially filled and the top pocket is crammed with stuff, then it won't stand too well, unless you have a laptop in it. My wife always compliments the bag all the time when she sees it on my back--says that it's just somehow aesthetically pleasing. I love the shape and the material--very nice to the touch and to the eyes, and also hardwearing and eco-friendly. Obviously more organization would be helpful, but then you'd lose the beautiful simplicity. I find the top pocket is just enough for my trinkets and things--keeps me from overpacking. If Fjallraven made one in 23 or 25 liters, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. It has gone up about $6 in price since I bought it several years ago.

Carol

I love this backpack. Perfect size. Use it all the time, everywhere. I've been using it for over a year and it has performed great throughout all the seasons, specially well in rain and snowy days. Only thing I would like to add is a bit longer straps or extensions to them. I find if the bag is really full it feels too tight specially when wearing a winter coat. Other than that, amazing bag!!!

Needs More Zipper Pockets.

This is a really nice lightweight bag. But it needs more zipper pockets. It only has two. One large zipper compartment on the outside and one small zipper pocket on the inside.

Perfect! Plus One Suggestion.

One of my favorite bags! I love the simplicity of the design and it’s very comfortable and versatile. I use it for city errands, work commutes, beach days, and overnights. It’s durable and the red color looks so nice. One suggestion: I would love to see a version of this bag with a separated bottom compartment, accessible with a lower zipper that unzips all around to store shoes or wet/dirty gear. That would be the perfect gym/beach/overnight bag!

The Perfect Bag

Pretty much the perfect bag for me. I liked the first one I bought so much I bought another one within a week or two to use as a gym bag. It holds "just enough" stuff to be useful without the hassle of checking multiple pockets/sections of a traditional backpack. the handles are perfect - the right thickness and size for carrying it easily. The backpack straps are fine and comfy. Colors I bought (light grey and olive green) are classy. I'm tempted to buy a few more to give as gifts.

Very Versatile

I bought this for traveling as I needed a bag that coul work around whatever luggage I need for different trips and something that could also be used as a day pack for city or rural adventures. I have found that I now use it in crossbody form almost daily. My one major complaint is that the backpack form would be so much more comfortable with a chest strap, especially for day hikes. Also if the backpack straps could be just a bit longer for larger people. But both of these edits would make the pack a bit less streamlined. A Velcro pad for the crossbody strap would also be an amazing addition. Overall, a much more functional transition pack than any other backpack/tote combo I can find as it's the only one with a good crossbody option.

Almost Perfect For Travel And Daily Use!

I was looking for a backpack for daily and travel use, that can also change to a crossbody bag for visiting museums and other places where backpacks aren't allowed. This bag is great! It's comfortable as a backpack, I think it looks stylish, and it would be fine for dayhikes as well as walking around in a city. It easily holds a water bottle and umbrella, sketchbook and pens, jacket, and anything else I need in a day. I also love that it's not super structured, so when it's not bulky when there are few things in it. When wearing it as a backpack, it's easy to swing it around to get into the pockets without taking it completely off. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that the clasps on the crossbody strap are hard to use. You have to squeeze the hard plastic while pushing the spring-loaded metal part and it's hard to get a grip on it because of the way it's attached to the strap. This means changing back and forth between crossbody and backpack is a little inconvenient and was kind of hard to do while standing in line at a museum. If you're taking suggestions, an easier to use strap attachment and a second internal pocket that could fit a passport would make it perfect. It's still better than any other backpack or convertible bag I've tried though.

Perfect Totepack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When this totepack arrived I was happy to see that it was just as pictured and exactly what I wanted. We plan to use it as an extra tote for travel where it will be a great carryon bag and also great to carry stuff for impromptu picnics. It looks sturdy and well made.

All The Details

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all the details about this bag. It's exactly the size I was looking for. The interior pocket up by the handle is perfectly placed and sized. The small detail of the excess backpack strap snapping to the strap itself to keep it from dangling is amazing. The handles look durable. I wish all my bags could be designed like this one!

Awesome For School

I bought this totepack for daily use at school. I was a little sceptical of the size but thus far it has proven to be perfect. The bottom is strong and reinforced so it won't break, the straps are surprisingly comfortable and the size is just right so you don't carry more than you need. The extra small pocket is in the ideal place for grabbing your stuff and it sits really well (backpacks that tip over are TERRIBLE). I got it in the fog grey, and it has a slight sage green tinge which is really nice. Perfect for daily use.

Underrated Lightweight Laptop Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so wonderful. It’s lightweight, nice shoulder straps, comfortable when there’s a laptop to support the back but not as comfortable when just carrying groceries. The color is also a nice army green. The only pet peeve is that this material doesn’t like sunscreen. It rubs on and is hard to get off completely from the straps. Other than that, I’ve been wearing it everyday and love it!
