Not As Good Design As The Older Version

I had the previous version of these pants and they were hands down the best hiking pants. So I got this new version and dislike them instantly. The shorts are shorter now. To accommodate that, they removed the two pockets above the knees. There are only two pockets near the hip in this version. If you put your phone in the pockets, it gets in your way every step you take going up or squatting down. These are going back and I’m on the hunt for the old style

Excellent Fit And Function

These instantly became my favorite pants/shorts. They are super lightweight and breathable. The kind of garment I am so comfortable in that I forget I’m wearing it. I appreciate how adjustable they are. The belt system, ankle cinches, and zip off make for an excellent fitting and highly versatile garment. I have a small waist, wide hips, and thick thighs and it is so hard to find pants that fit. So grateful for these.
