Impressive Technical Pant

I bought these in-store and the people were super helpful. I tried on the non-curved version and the only difference I noticed was the curved has a higher waist, which I prefer. I expected the curve version to be a bit roomier in the hips, but that wasn't the case. Size info to help others find the right fit: I'm 5'7"/170cm 135lbs/61.5kg with a 27"/68.5cm waist and 38"/96.5cm hip with muscular thighs. Size 2 in regular (32") length are nearly perfect in every way. I appreciate that the waistband is NOT stretchy. I typically wear a size 26 in jeans, sometimes a 25 or 27, depending on the brand, and I was SHOCKED that I'm a size 2 in these, I expected to be a 4 or 6 given that Fjallraven is a Swedish brand and my measurements land between these two sizes on the size chart. The waist on size 4 was huge on me. I preferred the slightly roomier fit in the thighs of the size 4, but these have a nice stretch and the front panels soften and stretch over time, so I opted for a better waist fit in the size 2, which is not restrictive at all (would have had to get the 4s tailored in the waist). Seems like these will be bulletproof for SAR work, which is my intended main use for them. I expect they'll hold up for years and prove to be low price/wear to justify the high price tag. The features are impressive: 3 cuff adjustment options, deep front pockets, the cargo-style pockets on the front are awesome with expandable width on the outside of each leg, one of the cargo-style pockets zips closed (under the snaps), the other has a mesh internal secure pocket that holds a phone, wallet, or other item you need quick access to, but want piece of mind that you won't lose it if you don't snap the pocket closed every time. I appreciate that fly button secures through the fabric, not as a snap like some of the other pant models have, which seems prone to wearing out or potentially opening unintentionally. The belt loops are the waxed-cotton blend material, plentiful, and well-placed.

Awesome Pants

Got my daughter these for Christmas and she loves them. Thick but plenty if stretch for easy movement

Love These, Have Them In 3 Colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the contrasting colors of these. It made it difficult to choose a color so after ordering my default black and liking the way they felt while hiking, I ordered 2 more colors. The zippered vents are very useful

First pair of technical hiking trousers I ever wore that fit my curvy body without either being too tight in the hips and/or too loose in the waist. Comfier than most jeans, in my opinion. Love the utility pockets, even held up great once when I had to slide down an icy hillside!

Great Hiking Pants

I overall really like these pants! Normally, I loathe hiking pants because they don't fit me correctly. I wasn't sure what size to get, based on the chart, and I'm glad I went into a store. Based on the size chart I thought I might need a size 8 and I ended up with a size 2. I love the color blocking, they stretch out (not in a diaper butt kind of way) and I wore my biker shorts underneath. They were a little tight in the thighs initially but it wasn't too bad. I like the leg vents. My measurements: Height: 5’5” Bust: 33.5” Waist: 26.5” Hips: 39” Thighs: 23.25”
