Love the feeling of this rain jacket and so far it has held up great in the rain. I’m usually an XS or S and I purchased this in an XS and it fits great. Small would’ve been too big, esp in the sleeves.

Excellent quality and great fit. My 12-year-old daughter is trying to commandeer.

NOT waterproof at all. Horrible jacket… would not recommend.

I wore this for the third time yesterday, it rained, I was confident that, being Fjallraven, I would be kept dry. Absolutely, wrong, sadly, within 10 minutes I was soaked through to the skin. So very disappointed, considering the price 😔

Even if the jacket works well I think it is a design flaw that there are vents instead of side pockets, which I think renders the jacket more or less useless for walks with my dog. Due to the construction of the vents there is no way to sew in some type of pockets either. Spent to much money on a rain jacket I very seldom use (my old rain jacket with pockets still works better).

not waterproof shame there is no standard pockets

The problem with this jacket is its hood. It is just not large enough to do its job. And one can see it on the photos already: it does not reach forward enough to keep the rain off the face. Yes, it's a fine looking jacket (I have the dark blue one), looks classy and is rain proof etc. But the hood is just plain badly designed and a rain jacket without a hood that works ... So, no, I would not recommend it and I regret having bought it. It is also quite narrow in the body, so you can't fit a lot underneath. Bottom line: a rain jacket for summer with a non-working hood

I saved up for a shell to have for many years, and I am so thrilled I went with this jacket. It is wind prof and I can still fit layers comfortably underneath. I am quite tall, so finding a women's jacket with long enough arms is always a struggle, but the arms fir perfectly even with some length to spare.

I’ve had mine for for 7+ years now and it’s been with me on so many adventures. The fit is great and quality impeccable. It needs to be impregnated from time to time however. But I will highly recommend it!

I have had this jacket for under a year. I wore it today on an 8 mile walk, and got completely soaked. All the way through. There is no way this is even vaguely waterproof. I love Fjallraven products, and have several, which are all good quality, and have lasted and performed well. I don’t know whether quality control has failed, but this jacket is bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and have used it for some relaxed hikes. Really well made, very breathable! Love the hood. Initially thought the chest pockets going outward (zips to open the pockets are on either side of the midline at chest level) was a bad design because I couldn’t put my hands in to keep warm. But I realized I can cross my hands hehe. So 0 complains!! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many rain jackets but rarely do they beat Fjallraven (even some hunting brands). I Love the big, adjustable hood and adjustable wrist. The material is not paper thin and cheap. I do wish it had side pockets but not a deal breaker. I don't stuff the pockets like a purse so I have no problems with chest pockets. I'm 130lb lbs. and have this in Small and Med depending if I need to layer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is fantastic save for one thing... no hip/handwarmer pockets! I read a review before purchasing that mentioned this very issue, but I decided to purchase anyway and realized (too late) how right they were. My keys and my phone look really odd hanging out in the chest pockets. I love the jacket but for the price it is, this seems like a massive miss. Aside from that major design flaw, the jacket is very well constructed and has kept me dry in more than one deluge (which is the sole reason I'm keeping it). I found it runs a bit bigger than other Fjallraven Jackets--I'm usually between a small and a medium and could have fit a small comfortably in this. I chose the medium, however, because I wanted the option of a heavier layer underneath. For reference, I'm 5'6", 34A, 145lbs, athletic build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes hiking and biking in the rain and sour wind bearable. Love the fit, the pockets, and the breathable, yet waterproof performance. I’m also getting lots of compliments!

I own many Fjallraven jackets, but I love my Keb Eco Shell. I have worn it on my travels from city such as Los Angeles, to various nature hikes. I have worn it on errands, on planes, and keeping warm in the office. It has been smashed or folded into various bags, and even sling over various bags or quickly tossed through doors or various surfaces in a pinch. I have even used it as a Shell with a warm inner layer during the snowy winters. Even my family’s dogs have jumped on me while wearing this jacket. My Keb Eco Shell has been my go to jacket, and besides some light dirt smudges along the cuffs, it still looks great. I even purchased another a size down from my initial Keb which was a small. I only wish it came in more colors again. I really would love it in a dark olive green or dark brown. I have a Frost Green (I think...or it could Glacier Green), which I don’t see anymore. My other Keb is a Lava Red which is what I picture a slightly brighter red than in the product pictures. The pockets on the chest definitely takes getting used to as a woman, and I wish the zipper pulls were like that of th Bertagen Eco Shell. I wouldn’t mind an RCCA being included as well. The jacket is very stretchy, so zippers (especially on the right arm is a bit awkward...but really too much for much use). I rather the leather branding patch on the arm was also much smaller as I seemed to “scream” out to people. The Bertagen had more of a subtle embroidered fox over one of the chest pockets. I haven’t used the ventilation zippers other than to get access to my warmer inner layer which had hand warmer pockets directly lined up with the vent openings. I also haven’t really find it that ventilating, either...I just end up opening the main jacket zipper. I do see why the company placed it there, so when you wear a backpack, you can still use the vents, but I didn’t find it that useful. The hood is large with a bendable wire, and a toggle in the back to keep it more formed to your head, but always fumble with the side toggles, as I can’t seem to release it back out when I don’t need the hood, and just want it to flip back. The main zipper comes up very high on my face which I guess can be nice when it’s windy and raining, but it’s a bit too high as I am petite...so I haven’t really zipped it up all the way. Everyone is so amazed how quiet the material is, and it’s an added plus as I hate sounding like I am wearing a plastic bag, and it’s good for the environment. I also tend to ruin those odd plasticity inner linings and/or mesh before anything else, which causes me to shell out more money every years or 6 months (including Gore Tex). I still plan on taking my Keb Eco Shells out and about with me everywhere I go...and I should wash it at least once...sometime, just don’t want to wear the waterproof finish.
