Lovely Coat, Bad Zipper

Nice colour and fit. Fairly warm. Zipper broke in the first month. Giving it a second chance with an exchange but reading the other reviews, it seems to be a common problem. They have a 2 yr warranty, hoping not to need it (again.)

Second One, Another Broken Zip!

I love this jacket - but I'm on my second one where the zipper has broken! I wish they would fix this feature. I live far from cities and stores and it's a pain to get it repaired or replaced.

My Go To Product

I bought this coat 3 years ago and it is one of my favorite winter coats! I give it a good wax at the start of the winter season and that usually last through the spring rains. It has great adjustability for the fit and is warm enough to -15F with a hoodie underneath. Craftsmanship is great and the coat can really take a beating, I got it stuck in a car door the first week I had it and no tears or signs of wear in that spot still, just a small grease stain.

Flattering Fit, But Not Quite Warm Enough

I love this jacket and the overall length. It is lightweight and feels very durable. I think the fit is great with the tie at waist. I normally wear a medium and got a medium which does fit perfectly with enough room for a sweatshirt underneath. My only complaint is it doesn't feel quite warm enough for winter. It does great in milder cold but doesn't feel quite warm enough for a deep snowy midwest winter.

Cute But Used

. Just get this jacket somewhere else it came used, and Dick's is unwilling to take care of the problem I bought it on a sale and now they wanna charge me full price seems like a scam.

Cute But Used

I ordered this jacket from Dick's Sporting Goods. It's super cute but they sent me a gross dirty used one and they're only solutions to fix the issue where to inconvenience me.

Best Jacket Ever!

This is my third winter with this jacket. I’m from northern Canada, I was looking for a jacket that was warm, but not bulky.. this is probably the best jacket I’ve ever owned. It really checked all the boxes for me. And it fits like a glove. Be sure to check size chart though. I am a size 14 US/CAD women’s, and settled on the XXL. The sizes definitely run small. The arms are really long. I’m very short, but they are long for even normie standards, they synch up really well and so it perfectly fine.. Better too long than too short. I ordered black to be safe, but there’s so many more colour choices now!!

Please Never Stop Making This Jacket

I’ve had this jacket for over two years and I still love it. I wear it most of the year with varying degrees of layers. I love the lower side pockets where I can tuck my hands comfortably (some of the other fjallraven parkas don’t have lower side pockets in the women’s version). I love the variety of pocket types and locations and use all of them. I love the cut and style. I love the color. I have the blue one which is such a beautiful tone. And I love how durable it is. I spend a lot of time in the forest with thorny vines, conifer branches, and a rowdy dog, and it has held up amazingly. Even in lots of rain when the wax layer is up-to-date. It has faded a little. I’m not sure if the slight fade is because of use or because I need to be better at waxing it. Please never stop making this jacket.

Just Perfect!

The most critiqued part, the length of the sleeves and the zipper works perfectly. I will have to wax it because it’s not waterproof. True to size. Not an inch less or more. Love the minimalist style. Glad I got it.

Versatile

Love everything EXCEPT the arms are super long! After one wash and carefully following the washing instructions, the coat has faded visibly on the seams. :( It's lightweight for running errands but warm enough in Canadian weather to walk your dog in.

Perfect For Layering/warmer Winters

So glad I have this coat. I live in SE Tennessee so winters are more mild than my original home in the Midwest, but the fit allows me to layer so I'm confident even during my travels this jacket is a one stop shop. I bought a large. I'm 5'2", 34J and usually wear a M/L top, size 12. The large fits perfectly, again, with enough room to layer a sweatshirt or sweater underneath comfortably. It doesn't look too big without the extra layer under it either. My ONLY super slight complaint is that the sleeves are way too long (which is a common complaint for me). If they were an inch shorter it would be completely perfect, but I think the cut of the coat is such that they're meant to be longer anyway. It's a specific thing for us shorter folks and it's not anything to make or break the jacket for me personally. I went out of my way to pay full price for it just to get the color I wanted (it was on sale at a wholeseller but didn't have the Acorn color in stock any more), which isn't something I do often. I've had similar coats that cost less but didn't fit as well, and the versatility, adaptability adjustability, potential longevity of this jacket makes it worth every penny.

Great New England Winter Parka

Wonderful parka that was great for colder New England weather. The sleeves were a bit long when I was wearing a large, but after weight loss, elected to buy a smaller size as I liked the winter proof so much. Did great in winter weather.

Always Warm And Dry

Scotland in April. Perfect coat every kind of weather. Never been happier w a purchase.

My Favorite Travel Jacket

I bought this jacket in Nov 2023 for my work travel (mostly Seattle). It has become the perfect travel gear for both cold and rain over this winter season. What I enjoy most is - the length of the coat, the two additional pockets in the front (one outside front left and one inside front right) and the adjustable waist in the back. It will keep you warm, which I need, and has also kept my dry during a 20 minute walk in the rain without issue. I did size up in order to give myself additional room for layering, which was simply a preference. I’m now interested in purchasing a lighter packable style (as similar as possible) to replace my current rain jacket.

Madz

I’m 5’10 and the sleeves are a little short on me. Also the material is pretty stiff. Doesn’t siit down next to your body and makes that shuffling noise when you walk.
