Got this jacket hoping it would be perfect for dog walking in rainy season. Love the length and the colour, but that's it. The material does not hold up to rain, it does ok in light mist. Hour+ walks in this in rain are miserable. The hood is especially disappointing, the force of walking forward is enough to knock it backward, unless I've got it so tight it's completely flush with my head, in which case rain pours right down over my face.

Unfortunately Not Waterproof
More accurate is water resistant. Certainly NOT waterproof which is a shame for the price and the fact that fjallraven products usually work as advertised and are good quality.

Really Well Made, Lightweight, Thoughtful Details
I purchased this raincoat after much searching for a quality coat that would last. There is not one part of this raincoat that seems shoddily made, and the drawstrings for the hood and wast adjustment are so smart. There are even flip down reflective flaps on the wrists for safety when out on a rainy day. I feel confident that this coat will likely last me for the rest of my life- and that lots of much dryer rainy day walks are in my future!
