Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great for a trophy farm. I purchased this decoy on sale because I needed a new one and it was the only one in the store. Once I got it home and put together I realized that the body is way too big. The antlers are fine for a decoy at a 120" range but it's going to take a 300+ lb buck to come in wanting to fight him. I used it one night and it scared off a 2.5 year old buck (not a loss to me, I shoot mature deer), but his immaturity brought him closer than it would a mature buck. I even removed 1 antler to make him appear to be less of a threat than a 120" buck, but his body is just too big. He also scared a doe off of the farm she was so scared (again, this is not a decoy to attract does). I don't find the quality to be poor, just be prepared to buy stakes to anchor his feet, he is top heavy! Overall, save the headache and losing a potential trophy, buy a smaller decoy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Realistic boss buck Unbelieveable results, has attracted bucks from as far as they can see it. All come in with their ears layed back and circle around it trying to get down wind. Set up on edge of food plot or open field. It is a bit bulky but worth it. I also have the boss doe and had bucks try to mount it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy It I have used this decoy numerous times and wow, it brings in everything that sees the decoy. Easy setup, the only thing i dont like is that its a little loud if you set it up in the field but i set it up before i head to the stand, then i put the head on when i get into the field

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incomplete order Ordered the Falmbeau boss buck. Was missing parts when I opened the package.. Very cheap quality and not very sturdy. Do yourself a favor and go a different route.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sets Up Quick - Works Well - Great Quality I bought this a couple of weeks ago and it has been used 4x in the field at different stands. In each case it either attracted bucks or got the attention of does and did not spook them in any way. Most recently a young 10 pointer came directly over to examine it and stuck around for about 10 minutes within 10 yds of my son who was using it. He could have easily shot the buck, but it needed a year or two yet to mature. It has a sturdy build but is lightweight enough to be easily carried. I'm in my early 70s and carried it, my bow, and a pack through woods a couple of hundred feet to my stand. It can be easily set up and taken down in 2-4 minutes. I use 8" round metal tent stakes and rope tie to secure them to the eyelet holder at the base of each leg, and the decoy has stayed erect in 15-20 mph winds. When not in use I store each stake in each leg which conveniently has a drainage hole on the bottom of the hoof again securing it to the leg eyelet with the rope tie. The quality of build is overall very good, and I expect this decoy will last a long time. Based on my short experience with it I highly recommend. I picked it up for an amazing $39 after it was on sale for $99, but minus a $40 rebate and also a $20 coupon. Great deal :-)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too big I live in Northwestern Illinois and I bought this a couple days ago to see how effective it might be. I put it together and took it to the timber. A group of does walked up on it, saw it and they panicked. He's just too big,, he's a monster Buck. They need to scale him down. The detail is great and the quality is good. But,,,, he scares off the Does. Sorry, it's going to be returned. Now I'm looking to get smaller Doe decoy.
