Net is pretty straight forward to build. Does feel a bit flimsy but gets the job done. Size is good for adults but power shots can fold it a bit. Overall great soccer goal for the price.

Have used this multiple times with a U14 team. Great for shooting practice. Definitely need the stakes (5 included-lightweight).

it's very nice that it's portable, but it's not terribly sturdy

I've had this less than a year. Set up and take down for practice is not that bad. I get used to it and can set it up pretty quickly. The net ripped first within the first couple practices, then the pole sleeve a few months ago and today the string holding the poles together, snapped. It's been less than a year. It has been great for the money just unfortunate it didn't hold up longer.

Definitley not worth the money. Lesson learned: Don't buy a portable one, go with a regular one. All ready ordered a regular one from a different place. Don't waste your money.
Crappy goal
I actually bought two of them, and they’ll both be going back to the store ASAP. First of all, it is not easy to put up or take down, so I would not intend to do that often. Secondly, on one goal, one of the nylon straps wasn’t sewed correctly and the stitching was coming undone. I just immediately boxed that one back up. Finally the real problem, we had the 2nd goal almost completely put together, with only 2 corner pieces remaining. As I was about to start the corner on one side, I heard a sound coming from the other side. It was the freaking fiberglass pole cracking. That pole cracked almost the entire length of the little 2 foot section. Then, I obviously had to take it back apart. Of course, I still had the poles from the other goal, but after everything else, there’s no way I’m keeping it. Don’t waste your money!!!

My kids love it and play with the goalie everyday.

I bought this goal a year ago and just finally got around to setting it up about 2 months ago. Definitely not portable like others have mention but it has been up in our yard since and is holding up great. Neighborhood kids spend almost every night in our backyard using it. Easy to move around to mow.

The title "portable" is misleading. It's portable in the sense that you can set it up one time and move it around your yard. This is not for soccer practices where you would set it up and take it down during the week. The set up actually took less time than taking them down. I ended up returning them to the store and spending about double to get a set of Skilz nets that are designed to set up and take down for practices. I've been super happy with those. Another point on the Franklin set is the net is very thin, I wouldn't expect they would do well if left up for a long time as weather or sprinklers would be hard on the nets.

I bought this one a while back. We had it in our backyard occasionally putting it away. The outer border fabric deteriorated even though the netting held up (opposite of another goal we had bought before this one). The portability is questionable. More like camping tent set up with poles etc. I’m on the hunt for a new net that is affordable. But this one only lasted ya a year.

I bought this soccer goal for my 10 year old grandson. I bought him a different brand two years ago. It did not hold up. So we are going to try this one. Set up was more complicated than I thought it would be, but it good for what he needs. Durability remains an open question.
