Dented After A Month

This bat is very cheap quality. I bought this because the price point was nice and it is from a reputable company like Franklin. I didn't know if my son was going to even like baseball so I bought the cheapest one I can find with a 2 5/8" barrel. My son is 5 and was in his first year of Shetland baseball (age 5-6) and they use squishy baseballs and it still dented. Worst part is there is no warranty for tee ball bats like regular USA bats. If you have a little player, just do yourself a favor and get the shortest USA bat with the largest drop that isn't tee-ball rated that your kid can grow into for a year at least. Plus USA bats have a 1 year warranty if they dent or break. Spend the extra and skip the hassle.

Purchased first batted and it dented after 5 games with normal use off a batting machine. It was replaced by a second bat that did the exact same thing

Do Not Buy This Bat For Anything But True Soft Tee Balls Hit Off A Tee.

My five year old son is in his first year of coach pitch and looked like he was swinging a toothpick with his old 24" bat. We stepped him up to this bat to test an extra inch, 3 more ounces, and the big barrel. Well, after just 3 weeks (6 games/practices) this bat has no less than 8 very large divots and the bat has started to curve. Half of his teammates are using 24/25 inch bats labeled as tee ball and not a single one of them has a single blemish, let alone the gouges that this one does. Oh, and if you think it may be my son hitting harder objects with the bat; I checked every divot for scrapes/marks of metal on metal and found nothing. This is just poor quality to hit a low price point. You get what you pay for.
