Great Playability, But The Edge Guard Quality Need

I purchased this paddle on July 11th. I absolutely love how it plays and really like the color of the edge guard. However, when the paddle arrived, I noticed that the metallic finish on the edge was noticeably uneven in color. Before using it for the first time, I applied standard removable edge tape to protect it. When I peeled it off less than 7 hours later, the metallic paint came right off with the tape! I’m quite disappointed with the paint quality on the edge guard and hope the brand can improve this immediately. If this issue cannot be fixed right away, I highly recommend adding a clear warning on the packaging and website stating, 'Do not use edge tape,' so future buyers are aware.

Durability Problems

By far my favorite paddle in terms of performance but in terms of longevity it is one of the worst. Edge guard will come off around the 3.5 month mark plus or minus one month based on amount of play you put in every week. I have had 4 c45s and the Hayden patriquin signature paddle has edge guard problems. Warranty will pretty much only cover the first paddle and warranty runs out on the replacement after 3 months.

Used To Be A Great Paddle

I loved the C45 dynasty model. I bought it when it first came out and then bought the Hayden model in Feb 2026. First one I bought was the red one which lasted me till Jan 2026 before getting core crushed. I loved it. I’ve since gone through 5 red dynasty’s and 3 Hayden models within the last two months. Seems like there QUality Control is terrible! All the edge guards pop off after a couple of sessions. I have friends who experience this with the Parris Todd model as well. Almost like they spent to much money on ALW and R&D for a failed project that they try and off load that over head by going to a different manufacture. You can tell they’ve switched because I have all of them and they have 3 different types of grit. Very sad to see and they know it as well. They tell you you can’t warranty anymore even though it’s a them problem. Sad to see amoung all of Orange County the same consensus. Loved paddle just seems like they gave up on QC or decided to go the cheap route

Franklin Paddle Is Way To Go

I've professional Selkirk and Joola paddles but Franklin is the best. I receive so many compliments/complaints as my strikes full of spins when I use Franklin LOL. I will stick with Franklins!!

Edge Guard Falls Off

Edge guard falls off within one week. Went through three of them. Warranty department was not willing warranty for their poor quality. Almost every person I know who has bought one had the same issue with edge guard.

Sleek looking, plays great. Nice and light but still with a ton of pop. 10/10 recommend

It's got good pop & spin. Serves are better. Feels good at the kitchen.

The Picklebarn Etx

This is an excellent paddle. So consistent. The ball does exactly what you think it should do. Pop, power, and control are all there. Spin is the right amount to hit all of the shots. Most consistent paddle on the market.

Love It But No Cover

Tried my new paddle tonight for the first time. I have to say it did improve my spin quite a bit and the top spin is amazing! Got lots of compliments of the color. Only thing is I wish it came with a cover.

Best paddle I have used to date. Perfect length for the handle. Good spin numbers and decent power but still very fast at the net. Like that it’s lighter than most.

This paddle has been my favorite so far after two years. I've typically used the FS Tour paddle but the C45 quickly became my favorite 14mm.

Amazing Paddle!

I’ve been playing with the Paris Todd version for a few weeks now and it has honestly become my all time favorite paddle. It has great power but still very controllable specially in comparison to other power paddles on the market. Franklin has without a doubt become my favorite brand.
