This is heavier than expected. It doesn't whistle as good as the smaller variant. Trying to throw this too hard, and you'll injure your arm.

Great Toy For Children Of All Ages!

I got this football for a boy who is 5-6 years old and his dad said the football is still a bit too big for him. But the boy carries this around everywhere and loves playing with it. He uses it as a hammer also, hitting everything with it, but he's learning to throw this around and play catch. This is very sturdy as the boy bends the tail but it's far from breaking off. Although the price of this foam football just went up by $5, this is a reliable football that I highly recommend to anyone. It's so difficult to break the tail off and that is a good thing.

The ball is decent but it a bit difficult to throw for kids. It’s got some heavy plastic pieces that inhibits the flight/spiral characteristics.

Great For Young Boys And The Tail Makes It Sturdy

I bought this for my nephew and although the foam ball is slightly too big for him, he carries it everywhere and throws it around. He likes holding onto it using its tail and I'm surprised that the tail still hasn't fallen off!

Weak Whistle

The ball didn’t whistle very well and it was difficult to throw a tight spiral. It may just be the ball we purchased though because we noticed that the tail is crooked after we had it out of the package.
