Cool And Comfy

Perfect for the hot and humid climate of Florida and southern Georgia. I have a few and they get more comfortable each time you wash them. A must for the summer fisherman.

I find this sun hoodie to be light, airy and extremely comfortable.I especially like the fact that it’s 50 percent bamboo, a natural fiber.

Best Lightweight Hoodie Ever

I have been a FreeFly fan since I first saw their gear online on Instagram and I have been totally hooked ever since. And it all started with this hoodie. The bamboo fabric is amazing so soft and the way that this hoodie is designed it has thumb holes which I love, and the fabric alone is my favorite. I'm a bit of a weirdo with fabrics I get really itchy and I don't like tags on my clothes and things like that so I'm very specific and this hoodie is the most comfortable thing ever great for layering great for at the beach great for on the boat great for working outside and great for farming and great for any kind of outdoor activities or indoor where you don't need a super heavy fleece. They also have the shade hoodie which is very close to the same thing just a little bit different cut and features but That one is absolutely awesome too. I also own one of their viscose tshirts And I immediately wanted it in a tank top and in a v-neck and in every color. And I'm not even beginning to start talking about their men's shorts. All I have to say there is breeze. The pants and shorts check them out and the joggers all men's although they make women's ones as well but the breeze line is amazing as well and again FreeFly has become my favorite clothing company which says a ton because of my fabric issues. Thanks FreeFly for all that great gear and I can't wait to see whats next (mens tank tops in viscose!!!???💚)

Synthetic Materials

I bought a couple Sun hoodies over a year ago. I wish I knew, what I know now, about the materials in the Sun hoodie. Free fly advertises this hoodie as being made out of “bamboo”. That is very much a “white lie”. Viscose from/of bamboo is only obtained through a highly chemically involved process. That makes up 70% of the materials. The other 30% is polyester. Polyester is a petroleum based material. Man made. A synthetic material. Not good for your overall health. Just want to make people aware of this, since a lot of the customers stumbled upon this hoodie because it is made out of “clean” materials. Hopefully, I can save some people, from wasting their money, like I did.

Great Product

I use it on hot sunny days at the beach or the range. The wind blows right through it and it feels like you have no shirt on at all. Pull the hood up over a baseball cap and sunglasses. Perfection

Great Shirt, Great Fit, Great Lightweight Sun Protection.

I purchased this shirt for an April trip to Key West. I was looking for something that was VERY lightweight that would not make me too hot. This shirt checked all of the boxes. It fits true to size, was light and airy, and it provided the sun protection that I was looking for, without feeling like I was in a sauna. The airtight material easily let even the slightest breeze flow right through it and helped keep me cool, even in the intense tropical sun. I wore this while walking around town, hanging out on the beach, and sailing on the open water. The hood was great and stayed snug over my ball cap, and the thumb loops kept my sleeves in place. I absolutely recommend this, if you're sensitive to the heat and sun and are looking for an alternative to constant applications of sunblock.

Great Shirt

Very breathable and lightweight shirt. I’m tall so I’d appreciate the sleeves being a little longer. The hood is also too small, it’s not easy to pull the hood on while wearing a hat.

Most Comfortable Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd shirt I bought for our friend and he absolutely loves them! He says they are lightweight, breathable and oh so comfortable! The fact that sunscreen is built in is a bonus! He reaches for these as soon as they are washed which drives his wife crazy!!
