Disgusting Spin

I don’t know how to explain it but the spin you can get with this is disgusting.. feels really satisfying to hit, and once you spend an hour dialing in the paddle respond, it’s fantastic. So easy to play with. Love it.

Pro Power At Budget Level Price

Playing the Aura Pro completely stock. I wanted to experience exactly what Friday engineered before adding any tape or grips. Coming from my daily driver (the 8.1oz Friday Fever 101 Stealth), the Pro’s stock static weight of 7.8oz was immediately noticeable. It took a couple of games to dial in because this paddle runs hot. Initially, my drives sailed long, my serves pushed the baseline, and my punches flew out with ease. Once you calibrate your swing, it becomes a completely different monster. I have played with other foam paddles that cost double what the Aura Pro will sell for, and while the Pro doesn't pack quite as violent of a punch out of the box, that is actually its biggest strength. Because it isn’t just an uncontrollable copy of those hyper-expensive paddles, you can play it stock without a brutal adjustment period. I recommend playing the paddle stock for the first few games or sessions before adding any thing other than an overgrip. With the new elastech the foam opens up increasing the sweet spot of the paddle and changing how it plays. Once broken in add your weight as you see fit. My recommendation is 5in of 0.5g per inch tape starting at the throat to pull the sweet spot down and to add stability. Performance Breakdown: Soft Game: This surprised me the most. On other high-end foam paddles, drops and dinks can be a nightmare. Not here. The Pro feels built for real pickleball—dinks felt connected and effortless, and drops were smooth, requiring almost no manual lift. Fast Hands & Counters: Because the paddle feels nearly weightless, I was getting to the ball early and winning hands battles purely through increased hand speed and the paddle's natural pop. It catches opponents off guard; I hit a relaxed backhand roll with almost zero effort, and the sheer exit velocity literally left my opponent stumbling. Putaways: The power is absolutely there, but the timing takes adjustment. Because the paddle is so light, you swing through the zone faster. Once you master that new timing, nothing is coming back. Serves: The paddle has amazing grit and really grabs the ball for being a foam paddle. This gives some massive top spin on my serve kicking right at the opposing team and jamming up their return.

I Was Awesome By The Aura Pro...

I first played pickleball 47 years ago, using a wooden paddle. Took it up again 2 years ago. I bought a Vatic Pro, then after 4 months switched to Honolulu J2K. Loved those paddles but retired them when I got my Friday Fever's. Now I am using the Aura and it has changed my game. Both Aura are great, but I just can't put down my Aura Pro. When playing bangers I have confidence in the kitchen blocking drives. My dinking game is more consistent with added power when needed. My drives have much more power and control. My serves are fast low with topspin. My change up, slice serve with top spin often is returned out of bounds. The feel and feedback of this paddle is perfect for my style of play. "Friday Pickleball" is the easiest company to work with for any issues. I had an issue with my 102 Fever edgeguard, and sent a picture to "Friday Pickleball "and received a new paddle within 2 weeks. Amazing support!

Top Performance At A Great Price

Best performance paddle out there - Foam core with a technical twist ! Incredible power, spin, control and touch. Puts my OLD Gen III paddle to shame. I’ve actually had a few people completely miss my serve. Haha. Great paddle, even better price!

Great Paddle! Strongly Recommend.

The Aura Pro earned it's spot as my main the first day I played with it. The excellent dwell and spin allow you to tear into the ball with confidence that you can keep it in. It is on the top end of legal power and has such great touch around the kitchen. This paddle is just as good, if not better, than other paddles selling for twice as much!
