Good But Not As Expected

Ran really large. Large fit like an XL or even XXL. It is made of a tyvek like material that is pretty stiff. It may be really effective at keeping out the weather. But we returned based on fit and comfort.

Purchased this rain jacket for my father for a gift. He absolutely loves it! Very versatile jacket. He can layer underneath for warmth. It super lightweight and packable. Keeps him dry in the elements. This is his 3rd jacket as he wears them out. They do run oversized.

I had one of your original jackets and the only issue I had with it ever was that didn’t have side pockets. I wore it out. I had it for over 20 years. I wore out the inside sleeves, etc. so I re-purchased it and I’m happy with this new one I can hide the hood if I want to, and I also like the fact that it has pockets on the sides. It’s a game changer for me. Thanks for having such a great product.

Bullfrogg Is Okay

These are cut really large, the assumption is they'll go over several other layers in the case of rain. The fabric is really stiff, I ran mine thru the washing machine and without detergent in an effort to soften it up - helped a lot. It's very waterproof so when it came out of the washer it dripped a LOT - beware. The hood stows nicely in the collar, like that feature. Would be nice to choose from a 'slim' cut version. This one is going to billow in the wind a lot if it's windy. I also do not believe it is a breathable fabric, so likely if it's warm you'll get soaked in your own sweat. Pit zips would be a nice feature and would not add much to the cost. I wouldn't mind paying a little more for a few more options/refinements. Time will tell if it works in the field - I use a rain jacket for backpacking, mountain biking, and general wear around town or for travel. I also got a River Toadz for the wife and it's a super nice piece. She loves it. Just not in the same category though as the BullFrogg. I came to find a rain hat and the jacket caught my attention. Got the hat too, and it's great. Having a chin string is crucial to keep them from blowing off your head.
