Our FTX ARMOR Jacket is durable, breathable, lightweight, abrasion-resistant, and supple, making it ideal for rigorous activities. The middle layer is made of DriPore Gen2® material that features impressive water holdout and breathable capabilities. The inner layer is a soft, smooth, nylon taffeta liner that provides a light, cooling experience. The FTX ARMOR Hooded Jacket features a slim athletic fit, full-front zip closure with a storm flap for extra coverage in inclement weather, and a 360-degree super-cinch external hook-and-loop wrist closure and adjustment for a comfortable fit.

I ordered the FTX jacket as a replacement for my 10 year old Bull Frogg jacket that served me well over the years, but time had taken its toll. The new FTX of course, is much more advanced in materials and craftsmanship and is comparable to many other top of the line products, but at a considerable savings. The longer length keeps water from seeping through at the stitching in the waistline of my bibs, cuffed sleeves and double fastening in front minimize any infiltration in those areas, plus, it’s lightweight and durable, making getting up and down and moving around the boat while fishing less cumbersome. The hood is a little oversized and could be redesigned for a better fit, but other than that, great product. Definitely glad I made the choice to go with the FTX line.

Never Take My Frogg Toggs Off The Boat

Use my gear in the rain all the time. Never take it off the boat. I stay dry while my customers still wanna fish. Doesn’t leak at the zippers. Even keeps my wrists dry when I dip my hand in the water to release fish.
