No protection at all. Terrible product. My son didn't evne wear them in a game or practice because when he tried them on, he compared them to his old shin guards and the difference was obvious. Will never buy them again. And we can't even return them because we threw out the packaging.

Great Product
I'm so happy to be able to wash the sleeves. I wish there was a better way to clean the back of the pads themselves. The backside is sort of a cloth- or foam- type material that I worry will start to smell. Ideally the pads themselves would fit in cloth sleeves so everything could be washed. Maybe the sleeves could have a pocket the pads slip into. Anyway, the system is a huge improvement on old school shin guards even if there's room for tweaking.

Comfortable Shin Guards
These conform well to the shape of your leg and stay in place much better than other ones I have used. We ordered small based on the recommended size chart but they were way too small so we returned them amd got the mediums. I am 5'3.

These are the best, most comfortable shinguards! I love that I can throw them in the wash.
