LAX daddy
All my girls play with them and when on field you will see so many girls with them.

My Varsity lax player needed a new stick and tried everything from an STX to Maverick and everything in between. She landed on the Gait Whip 2 and after sending the wrong color, Dick’s made things right and sent the correct one in a couple of days. It’s a little on the pricy side, but well worth the quality construction and durability!

We found out that US Lacrosse banned this stick due to illegal shape 2 weeks after we bought it we found out that it had been banned for a long while. The stick is great and shipping was fine other than the fact that my daughter can’t use it.

Overall Gait Lacrosse is a great brand for elite players who are looking to up there game. with its light weight hold and bullnose head shape this stick is great for attackers and mid fielders. Though the some versions of the apex 2 head is illegal for play. As gait stares on there website "YOU MAY HAVE SEEN A RECENT ADVISORY ISSUED BY USA LACROSSE REGARDING THE APEX 2 WOMEN’S LACROSSE HEAD. WE WOULD LIKE TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. THERE ARE TWO VERSIONS OF THE APEX 2: VERSION 1 AND VERSION 2. BOTH WERE BUILT WITH THE SAME ELITE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS, BOTH PASSED LAB TESTING, AND BOTH WERE DESIGNED USING DIRECT PLAYER FEEDBACK. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IS A SLIGHT CHANGE TO THE SIDEWALL STRINGING HOLES. DESPITE NO SAFETY OR PERFORMANCE CONCERNS, USA LACROSSE HAS OPTED TO APPROVE ONLY VERSION 2 FOR USE IN NCAA, NFHS, AND USA LACROSSE-SANCTIONED PLAY. THE DECISION WAS MADE WITH LITTLE WARNING, WITHOUT COLLABORATION, AND WITHOUT ACKNOWLEDGING FAIR TIMING FOR US TO SET UP A PROPER REPLACEMENT PLAN WE WOULD NEED TO MAKE THIS AS SEAMLESS AS POSSIBLE. THE ADVISORY WAS POSTED PUBLICLY IN THE MIDST OF YOUR HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, AND CLUB SEASONS, CREATING UNNECESSARY CONFUSION AND DISRUPTION ACROSS THE LACROSSE COMMUNITY." So I would check your sticks

Yabba dabba do! I bought this stick a year ago and thankfully purchased the insurance/warranty because the plastic head got cracked during play and needed to be replaced for the upcoming season.
