Great Stick After Adjustments

My daughter had a Gait stick for the last couple of years but wanted a new one. This stick has been used in 3 games and multiple practices and so far, it has been great. The pocket definitely needs work before using though. When she first used it at home the ball was shooting down. You will need to loosen the shooting strings to help with this. After this adjustment her throws are great. Just keep that in mind that you will need to work on that.

First Gait Stick And I’ll Never Go Back

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just wanted to let anyone who is weary of the higher price point to know- this lacrosse stick is worth every penny. I am so glad I invested in this stick. It’s amazing how it just feels natural… like it was made just for me. There is no comparison regarding quality compared to my previous sticks. It’s light, easier to cradle, and has definitely helped to improve my game overall. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Swear By Apex

My daughter loves the Gait Apex, despite them being expensive. I have to agree, it’s a great stick. She plays midfield, year round lax. We’ve had 2 original Apex, which worked well right from the start - without much of a wearing in period. But BOTH sticks cracked in the same exact spot on the side into the first string-hole (as did a friend’s) - expensive design flaw. The Apex2 hasn’t been quite as good right out of the box, but after fixing the shooting strings, it’s wearing in ok. I’m hoping it doesn’t crack like the other two.
