Don’t Waste 5k On This

I watched tons and tons of videos trying to find the best launch monitor. I ended up going with the R50 because I own the R10 as well and have loved it. Once I started playing on the R50 I noticed every shot was 10 yards shorter than normal. Then it kept having me 20-30 yards off center and when I would hit my driver it would have me slicing it. I’m a 11 HC and haven’t shot anything like it was saying in years. It also froze up 5-6 times in the 4 days that I owned it. The numbers and letters would blur as well. There was one time that it did not read my ball at all. In every single case I had to reset the unit. Awesome Golf wouldn’t link to it ether. Home Tee Hero was fun and I enjoyed the putting but this unit is not at all worth 5k. I ended up sending it back. Tried to reach out to Garmin but received no response.

Excellent Simulator

I bought this for my business and it has been a great success so far

Great Unit

I bought this unit to upgrade me old golf simulator system and I couldn't be happier. The biggest feature is I have 2 places to use it which gives me the ability to take it and not have the cost of 2 units. I love being able to play pretty much all the courses I currently play and ones I wouldn't be able to. Honestly the upfront costs are expected but the low yearly subscription makes it worth it.

Ultimate Golf Shed

Played my first full round today. It took a bit to get used to. Iron play was really true to form. Even putting seemed pretty accurate. I was have challenges with my driver and woods. Maybe being indoors made me feel a bit constrained. I finally managed to get a couple of drives out to 270/280. The missed were awful. Fairway woods were tough to elevate. Something I'll work on am sure will improve over time. Still very excited over the purchase and fully expect my goals will be realized.

Distance Is A Little Off

I believe the distance is a little off. Is there anyway to calibrate the unit? I would think for what it cost the distance would be correct.
