Great Golf Watch

Best one yet. I have a s60 and s62 (as well as two in the 20’s series) and this one is superior in almost every way. (And a heck of a lot cheaper as well) Out of all the Garmins I’ve owned this one definitely has the longest battery life.

I upgraded from my previous Garmin watch. This one is color & syncs automatically so it's much better. It was more money but worth it. I'm eventually going to get the Garmin tags for my clubs to track shots. But for now, I have no complaints.

I bought my watch several weeks ago and I really like your watch , but having problems with course distances by distances of 10 to 13 yards. Want keep it but need some help / thaks. Any assistance could help me

I bought this to replace my range finder. It’s very accurate and easy to setup.

Wont Total Scores Or Stats

This is the second season I have been using the S44. The app stopped totaling scores and providing saves and fairways hit etc…. I updated to and can’t seem to fix the issue

Dumb Charging And Incorrect Color Descriptions

For heaven's sake, please get rid of the proprietary charger, and please learn what color grey is. It's 2026. People charge their watches on wireless pads. I returned mine because your "grey" photography is just flat-out misleading. It's blue. Not handsome navy blue, but some weird light slate blue, but no where near the product photography. The golf watch functions seem fine, but I just couldn't get past the ridiculous proprietary charging setup and misleading product descriptions.

Great Golf Watch With Excellent Battery Life

I received the watch as a gift. It meets and exceeds all my requirements by providing a great golf app and a very nice that I can wear on a daily basis. The weather app and fitness capabilities are great tools as well. The battery life so far is exceptional. On the first charge I was able to track 36 holes of golf on two different days and also wear the watch daily for 10 days before I recharged. I still had battery life remaining when I recharge the watch of the first time. Great watch and so far easy to use.

Smaller Size And Great Color Graphics

I had a very old Garmin golf watch and it finally "was done". So I checked out several golf watches, as there are many out there, now. I still bought a new Garmin Approach S44 and I love it! Very easy to get set up and it charges up quickly. Love it.

Easy To Navigate And Ideal For My Needs

I had an Approach S60 and swapped out for the S44! Best decision ever “easy to navigate and ideal for my needs”!

An Improvement

I bought this watch to replace my S40. A huge improvement! Better graphics, better functionality, and works!

Nice For Golf, Not For Other Activities

I purchased this recently, and have used it for one round. I like the golf features and the battery life. I had previously been using the Vivoactiv 3. My thought was the Approach S44 would replace my older watch, but I learned I have made a mistake. The Approach S44 does not have a heart rate sensor, so it will not be useful for other fitness activities, such as running or sleep monitoring. I did not research properly before making my purchase. I should have chosen the Approach S50 instead.

Questionable Charging Method

I bought this watch to replace my old Approach S41 and the S44 is excellent for golf as well as other uses. The only thing I question is the method of charging. The charging connection is the same as my old watch, which will no longer charge using the old charger cord. This method is far to unstable and the connecting mechanism gets worn to the point of not being able to hold the connection. I would recommend using a different charging system. Possibly similar to the method used by Fit Bit watches. I would have otherwise given my new Approach S44 a 5 star rating.

So/so

This is second year using the Garmin 44. It is very accurate in distance and scoring but does not fully charge up. Also, too many buttons to push to get the information you're looking for.

Excellent Golf Watch

My Garmin S44 is an excellent golf watch. It does all that I wanted and more. Another bonus is how long the battery lasts before recharging.
