Almost There

This is overall a great watch, but it’s missing a few features that I feel like it should have at this price point. The main two are having a real flashlight, and having the microphone functionality. It appears to have the microphone, it just doesn’t do anything. Otherwise it’s a fantastic watch. The battery life is the best I’ve ever had to where I tend to only need to charge it about once a week if I’m doing a handful of activities. The GPS tracking has been really consistent, and many of the health metrics have been really good. I also wear an Oura ring, which is very accurate on things like sleep, duration, quality, and HRV. I do find that the Garman slightly overestimates your sleep, compared to the ring, but the HRV is dead on, which is a very helpful metric. Like all fitness tracker watches, I don’t rely on the wrist based heart monitor, and instead use an external strap, which pairs nicely.

Garmin Doesn't Disappoint

I've had this Epix for about a year now and decided I should give a rating for anyone interested. I'm very happy with this watch and Garmin overall. I'm a long time fan boy of their products (I own a Marine Chartplotter and an RV GPS). I think their best feature is usability. The UI is familiar yet feature packed and everything just works. No wonky software, no botched updates and very durable. Everything I need in a smart fitness watch and nothing I don't. I'll get another Garmin when this one ages out .

Excellent Watch But Garmin Has Stopped Updating It

This is a phenomenal watch and because it was a 2022 release, you can get it at deeply discounted prices now, i only have two issues with it: - The elevation data seems to always be over stated compared to strava and even other garmin models. Somehow I havent been able to figure that one out. - garmin has stopped sending new updates to it, for example, Fenix 8 has rucking but our generation (Fenix7/Epix) will not get it and this is a business decision. Our watch is perfectly capable of being able to host a rucking app which allows you to enter pack weight etc BUT they just don't want to send it!

Wont Stay Paired With Iphone.

Exchanging for another. Hopefully it works out. Won’t stayed pair. Stuck in battery save

Great Watch

It's a great watch I'm finding it extremely complicated it has so many functions on it that I don't need and I would like to remove those functions and download my workout program
