Garmin Is So Disappointing

This watch was good until january update... Can't use it anymore.

Finally A Real Time Map On Your Wrist

Since 2009 that I was dreaming with the possibility of looking my position in a map in real time. In that time I was using a Palm with a USB GPS. But know you have everything in your wrist. I am Trail Runner, Paddler (Canoe) and sometimes Backpacker. Beside that this watch come with many other options (golf, skiing, Garmin Pay etc) you can enjoy tbe best of a map and distance, compass, track back, waypoints etc. I've tested this watch doing some really cold snowshoes backpacking in Quebec, Canada and the watch included the trails that I was doing. Include as well a lot of trail in the US. But remember always to update your watch before any activity. I haven't tested yet in my hometown Chilean Patagonia but I will update it this review. Is 2025 and I am still using the watch. not problems . -Battery without heart rate at least 40 hrs. -Easy to use it

The Fenix 6 has held up well. Titanium bezel and sapphire glass is still looking great after years of use. Battery life is good.

Fitness tracking and health monitoring on a device that is intuitive. Love the GPS for recording runs

I wear this watch everyday and through it all it has continually met each challenge. Whether it's in tree or on the trail the GPS is accurate and the overall ruggedness keeps it going. The sapphire screen is a must and has yet to scratch after years of wear. The straps and the charger will eventually break but the watch hangs tough

Versatile Watch!

I use my garmin for a lot of reasons among gthem being fitness, hiking, and hunting. I love the feature that it connects to my garmin alpha 200i dog collar system and points me in the direction and tells me the distance. Such a great item for an active uplander!

Amazing Adventure/everyday Smarwatch

I got the fenix 6 on a whim, not thinking I needed it but 2 years later I know how wrong I was. I knew it would be a great hiking watch but it's a great watch for everything else as well. On top of the obligatory smartwatch features (seeing texts, calls and notifications) it also has every athletic activity I could ask for. The two best features in my opinion are: 1) the ability to track a round of golf and display current distance to the pin - I don't need a range finder or have to rely on yardage markers and 2) the customized running training plans - I use them for almost every race I sign up for. The physical button setup (instead of a touch screen) was a little tough to get used to at first but it's become second nature to me. The Fenix 6 doesn't have all the fancy features of style smartwatches but that's because it's made to go do things with. If you're looking for a watch for being active and being outdoors this one is great.

Fantastic Watch

I did a lot of research before buying this watch. I call it a watch but it does more things than I would ever need It to. The battery life is great. With how I set it up I can get 15 days battery out of it. It's so easy to track your workouts, walks, hikes etc.

Does everything you could ever want! I love having music built in to the watch, waited a long time for that feature!

Perfect All Around Watch

Functionality is amazing for running and everyday smartwatch usage. Sleep monitoring has helped me understand what I do during the day affects my sleep. And sleep is key to all overall heath. All of that could not be accomplished without awesome battery life. I can charge the watch and forget about it. No nightly charging routines. I have worn this in hot and cold environments to sandy and dusty environments with zero issues. Best watch I have ever worn/owned!

Great Product, Outstanding Service

I've had my Fenix 6 for a little over a year. the performance and features * especially battery life * have far exceeded my expectations. Even though the Fenix 7 has been out for over a year Garmin continues to update the 6 with new features. I had a display defect after about a year and Garmin replaced it with a reconditioned unit with zero hassle. Altogether, probably the best and easiest service experience ever. I have a bunch of other Garmin devices like the InReach and power mtb pedals--more and more I'm sold on everything about his brand.

Garmin Fēnix 6 Sapphire

I have never been happier to have this watch! I bought this watch 2 years ago when i was going through advanced individual training for the US Army. I have used it during vigorous rucks, airborne jumps, combat training and so much more! Its very precise in everything it records and there is so much to choose from! I wear it every day all day! Not only is it very durable and has stayed like brand new since the day i bought it, it also has amazing battery life no matter how you use it! Definitely recommend this watch over any other!

Way More Than A Watch!

I'm not a training guy; I like to track my activities mostly for historical purposes. But I also like being able to explore and load new routes I have yet to paddle. And then there is the safety factor of knowing where I am and how to return. When my second Apple Watch failed, I said enough was enough. Being a long-time Garmin user (30+ years), I decided to look into the wearables. I opted for the Fenix 6 Pro; it was much more than I expected. First off, it was bigger and heavier than I was used to. I worried it would hinder my cycling and paddling in my kayak and on my paddleboard. After hitting the water, I never even noticed it was there! Second, it was much more than I had envisioned. There were settings to measure cycling, running, hiking, swimming, golf, and paddling. Figuring out how to navigate through the menus with buttons took some time, but after a few outings, it all felt natural. It functioned very well as a watch, and I love the 14 battery life. My Allple watch barely lasted a 12-hour day and would die in 2-3 if I ran the GPS/Maps. This is very much a computer as it is a GPS. When connected, I get texts, app notifications, and call information from my phone, even measuring my steps. It's been just over a year since I have had it, and I will never return to Appl again.
