Affordable With Great Features
I really like this watch, I previously had the 965 and I loved that watch until it just died on me. This was a good replacement but my one complaint is that the start/stop button is more towards my wrist making it hard to time multiple intervals. The button on my 965 was longer and flatter and much, much easier to use. Many times now when I go to stop my watch, I end up pressing my flesh against the button because I have no other option if my hand is reaching for the pool wall. Super annoying when I am doing sets of short intervals. Aside from the terrible placement of that button, the watch works great and the graphics are bright and easy to see.

Great Sport Watch
Coming from an Apple Watch Ultra 2. I am very impressed with the Garmin ecosystem and this is my first Garmin device. I do wish that more metrics were reported to Apple Health and throughout the day, such as Heart Rate Variability, even sleeping HRV would be acceptable. I am not a fan of how notifications work, even when disabled in the Garmin Connect app they are still sent to the Garmin (just hidden). I would leave notifications enabled except when I read the notification on my Garmin it's still unread on my iPhone (unlike Apple Watch which shares read status). But, the built-in training plans, fitness metrics, etc. are top notch and worth hit for a serious athlete. One final note, the built-in microphone hasn't gotten very good reviews from people I have called using the Garmin, contrary to the Apple Watch which has a microphone indistinguishable from calling directly from the phone. Given the microphone is a selling point for this watch I wouldn't add too much weight to this feature, that being said I rarely would need to use the microphone on my watch.

So Detailed!
I switched over from a Google Pixel, wanted to upgrade. Definitely did that. Love all the options, love the push buttons, love the stats. Only reason not to give it 5 stars is because takes time to learn how to do the activities and get confused sometimes. But, just have to be patient.

Great Watch
I’m an ultra runner who finally took the plunge. Love the watch, the data, the usability, all of it. Hate the band. It should come with a nylon one as this one causes problems.
