Reliable, great battery life, and easy to use! I was in the Amazon jungle for a week and this tracked my trip at every turn along with giving me peace of mind if I ran into any trouble.

Great Tracker

I used this on my recent 4 night, 5-day hike along a section of the PCT. I used it in tracking mode so my kids could watch my progress. I also was very impressed with the battery life. It lasted several days before needing to be charged. I also, played with the option to create waypoints on the Explore app and let it led me to a waypoint by letting me know when I was on track. Very impressed with overall functionality.

Clunky To Navigate

Recently purchased a monthly subscription with activation. Complicated to use for a novice at tech. Unsure of connectivity and unable to confirm a message was sent.

Grateful For The Peace Of Mind

Thing works great. Hopefully I never need to hit the sos button. But so nice to know that I could. Sending messages offshore with no service is simple.

Stay In Touch With Your Loved Ones While On The Trail

I finished a hike early and used the Garmin to contact my spouse for day early pick-up. Worked like a charm. So nice to have that piece of mind incase you have an emergency.
