Porous Outer Impossible To Clean

I have a typical 4yo, who sits his water bottle down at the playground at school or on the sidelines at soccer practice, but nothing excessive and it seems like every bit of dirt just seeps into this outer material. It gets scrubbed daily, but will not come clean. He does like the design and it has otherwise held up well, but very disappointed with the material.

Wish the orange rubber valve was available to purchase as replacement. Love these water bottles for my kids, but the orange rubble valves began to turn black, I can’t scrub, boil, or bleach it away.
