Damaged

The main aluminum table out of the box was dented/damaged. I was at camp already out of state so I could not take it back to the store for exchange. So I had to use it. Aside from that, the table was great! It’s strong and sturdy. I used it for my Coleman stove, although I had to fold out the right plastic side shelf to hold the little propane tank because it didn’t fit in the aluminum main table. I used the middle bottom shelf for two large pots w covers, a medium pot w cover and a large frying pan. The left side shelf was great for holding things you need while cooking. I didn’t use the lower side shelves and I really liked that they could stay folded in. Clean up was easy. This table is very strong and sturdy. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the damage, and because it seems like it will be further damaged with transport since the table surfaces are on the outside after it is folded up and are not protected. I saved the box that it came in and am hoping that it will provide a little protection, but I guess it really won’t seeing as how it came damaged when I bought it. I’m 67yr old woman and pretty strong, and hardly struggled to carry this table, so it’s fine to carry. Thanks, Dicks Sporting Goods, for selling a good product.

We Love This Camp Kitchen!!

Finally decided to buy this for my husband, mostly for camping, but I know he’ll use it at home as well! He loves it! Love the quality and how easy it is to open up and how compact it is for storage! I also like the small details they thought about and added to this, ie; the thumb tabs on the hinges so you don’t pinch your fingers. Also, the elastic on one side to keep paper towels. The notches for grill utensils on each shelf and the cutouts for condiments. Another great product from GCI Outdoor!! We have 2 of their Road Trip rockers and 2 of the 20” camp tables.

Compact And Multipurpose!

Lighter than most camping tables I have used. I like the unique folding features of the table. Side tables are useful for preparing food and holding cups and spices.

I Bought This To Grill

I bought this to grill at my apartment complex and took it camping with friends. The elastic band keeps paper towels from unwinding in the wind and it is such a sturdy easy to use piece. My friends loved it and are buying one of their own.

So Far So Good. I

So far so good. I looked long & hard for something to help with campsite organization. We're a camping family that takes meal prep seriously - we don't settle for hotdogs and canned bbq beans alone - not knocking hotdogs, but we do enjoy a good meal at camp. Along with that comes a chaotic camp kitchen. I'd read enough positive reviews on the slim-fold to sway me to pick one up. We used it over a 4-day 4th of July camping trip to put it through its paces. I'm quite happy with it - it upgraded my kitchen storage game quite a bit. I'm impressed by the build quality and expect it'll last a good number of years. Quite steady. If it had been a bit deeper it might be sturdier, but once it has a few heavy items on top, it's pretty steady on flat/even ground. And that'd be a trade-off. I'd r recommend it to a fried. While I give it 5 stars, I'd note two things: 1) addition of a hangable mesh under the main surface would expand dish drying surface greatly, and 2) keep in mind that the aluminum main surface is a little slippery - we use a metal Camp Chef stove and it was a little slippery. I'm going to look for a 16x24" peice of thin rubber to create a friction layer between them so it doesn't slip around.

Great Product!

Great Camp Kitchen. Super easy to set up/take down and very sturdy. I drilled holes in bottom, added threaded rivnuts and adjustable feet to make it easy to level on uneven surfaces. Also added glow in the dark tape so don't run into it the dark. Great product like all GCI Products.
