Wish The Cap Had A Point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seam seal itself works great, just wish the packaging was better. A point on the cap so you can pierce the seal without finding it a rusty nail would be lovely. Also wish my tube hadn’t spring a leak through a fold in the foil, but at least my hands are as waterproof as my tent seams now. Definitely use a cheap, fine-tipped syringe to make applying this easier.

Seems To Hold Up So Far

Haven’t been through travel and wind and rain with my repair to my boat cover yet. But it has held up to sun and rain sitting in a parking spot.

Essential To A Making Your Tent A Bunker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying make sure you use in a well ventilated area.. Or you will be walking on Sunshine all the way to Mars. Anyway I've been a fan of this stuff for years. Most decent tent makers tape the seams of their tents. Its an after thought at best. Seam Grip lasts forever and there is nothing quite the same on the market. Brush tip is a bonus. After it has dried dust very lightly with corn starch so it doesn't stick to itself. Buy it or end up a drip.

Works Great

Always use this product. Works great. I use it on my waders and boots.s

Better Than I Thought

Remembered that I hadn’t sealed the seams of my tent fly after last years trip so I bought this stuff and sealed it the night before the trip. I’d never done this before and was skeptical at first. In the morning, all was dry, rolled up the tent and went camping for three days, two nights. It POURED both nights and not a drop came through compared to the year before when the seams were leaking everywhere. I was afraid the sealer wouldn’t work if I didn’t have seam tape but it wasn’t needed. worked great but one thing, get two tubes for a 6 person tent. One tube wasn’t enough.

Fair

I bought this a month ago and it didn’t really work at all

Sticky, Runny Mess

The lid is used to break the aluminum seal over the tube. As soon as I broke the seal, the glue began spilling out. It made a mess on my hands and over the product I was attempting to seal. The glue is so runny, it gets everywhere before you have a chance to put it where you want it.

Easy To Apply, Did A Great Job

Used this to seal the seams on a 10 year old REI half dome tent. Very difficult to get off your skin, so use caution!

Fantastic

I bought this to help with a hole in my air mattress. I also bought the tape. but after it dried i noticed that it stayed thick and adhered to the mattress. you do not need any special covering tape to fill holes. just apply this glue and let it dry. we used our mattress for 3 nights and did not have a leak. i did use acetone to clean it first.

Water Bladder Fixed

We used this to patch a hole in a Camelback bladder. So far it's working just fine.
