Interior Is Not Waterproof
The exterior of the bag IS waterproof, however I need to use this item on vacation where I would be submerged in the water. The pouch will keep valuables safe as long as it’s not fully underwater.

Not Waterproof
I bought this a month ago for use when paddle boarding. It does float, but it is not waterproof. The phone compartment gets condensation in it, even if it's just humid and if it's underwater for even a minute, it starts to take in water inside the compartments. This does not protect your belongings from water damage. Otherwise love the bag. Otherwise great bag!
