Best Boots Around

I have been wearing these or the work Wellington boots for over 15 years. It’s the only boot I trust and they are extremely durable. Super comfortable and very short break in time. They last me for 1-2years when taken care of minus a resolve every 6-8 months. Had a 1000lb steel beam land on my leg and the boot held up and kept it from getting to my Achilles tendon. I will wear Georgia for life.

My Favorite Boot, But It's A Crapshoot.

I've had 3 pairs of these boots. First 2 were amazing, 5 stars. The second pair lasted me almost 5 years of daily use. Keep in mind I use my boots for EVERYTHING, I ruck in them, exercise, run, work, sports and go out in them. Boots are perfect footwear in my opinion, suitable for any activity, I've even gone swimming in them and I treat them as such. but this pair I just ordered a week ago aren't the same. The quality and consistency of this pair is honestly bad, which sucks because I think these boots are easily one of the best (price, style, features and quality) that Georgia boots make. Unfortunately, the right boot is bigger than the left. It's a noticably loose fit. My heal on my right foot rubs up and down in the boot. Also, the upper of the boots seems to have been made using less material or maybe just mistakenly cut too much. Typically, in a good boot, when lacing your boots the upper will overlap the tongue on both sides giving you good coverage, keeping out dirt, sand or just debris in general. The 1st 2 pair I had did this. The new pair doesn't. The edges of the tongue don't reach the edges of the upper unless I force them too, which would make them too tight or if I was a stick figure, I'm not, I keep in shape. My experience along with the other reviews on this website prove that Georgia makes some quality boots but their consistency and quality control really needs attention given to it. No one like a crapshoot. In the pictures you can clearly see both boots are the same size but one is clearly bigger than the other as well as the fact that on the upper where the lace hooks are, they reach around further towards the front to give you that overlap that you're looking for. On the plus side, for almost 5 year old boots they've held up amazingly well considering how use them.

Durable And Comfortable

Iowa farmer all my life. Have bought Georgia boots for last 40 years . These are by far the best style for long days of all kinds of work conditions, wet , dry, hot and cold. I have worn out at least 35 pairs since getting the first pair. Have tried other brands/styles and came back to this boot style. Will continue these getting boots for as long as they make them !!!

Great boot that I've gotten two season's out of in the asphalt industry. Only problem is the tongue on one of the boots ALWAYS sits sideways. No matter what I do I cannot fix this and I think it was an issue with the stitching.

Good Boot But With Two Big Issues

Overall a decent boot. The leather is very nice and supple. And a solid feeling boot. However, the insole is sewn into the boot and its not a good insole. These are work boots. I stand all day. I should be able to change out the insoles to fit my needs. If i had known before purchasing that i couldnt change the insole out at all then i wouldnt have bought these. One other complaint i have is that the little bit of traction grooves cut into the sole are super shallow. If it werent for those two issues, this would be a 5 star boot all the way and probably the only boot i would buy.
