Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Outstanding!!! I bought a pair of these boots about six months ago while on vacation from a general store in Forks Washington. I had been looking for a pair of slip-on boots for some time, the only thing I could find had tennis shoe type of sole not a boot type. Whenever people go on Vacation they always buy something as a reminder I am reminded every day, I wear my boots every day I would not hesitate to recommend these to everyone who wants comfortable heavy duty boots that can handle anything you could throw at them. I expect them ( based on current wear ) to last a very long time. Do yourself a favor BUY THESE BOOTS you won"t be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Georgia Romeo This is probably my 10th pair of Georgia Romeos, been wearing them every winter, for the last 12 years. Being in the construction industry, needing to go in and out of houses under construction, you need a quick easy show to be able to take off and on quickly. These shoes fit the bill, they break in quickly, wear well and are comfortable, even after a 12hr day.Only 1 thing I wish they would change, I wish that they would make them in a water resistant/waterproof model as I am going from wet ground to snow covered to rain. would be nice to have drier feet towards the end of the day. Sometimes I just take the old pair & a change of sock and leave in the truck

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made to Last! I am extremely hard on shoes. If a pair lasts 6 months, it's a miracle. I destroyed a pair of Doc Marten boots in about 3 months. My Georgia Boot "Romeo Work Shoes" lasted a little over a year. They are comfortable, easy to get off and on, and the slip on style means I don't need help getting them on my feet. I have severe arthritis in my hips and bending over is excruciating. I purchased 2 pairs this time so that I have a pair for work and a pair for wearing out. Thanks for a fantastic product Georgia Boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, and ridiculously comfortable Some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Also had a pair of their steel toed work boots that lasted about 10 years. These shoes didn't last me that long, because I wore them every day but I got about a year and a half out of both pairs that I owned. Glad they're still making them, because I just about wore the soles off of mine and they were still comfortable. Durable... soles that feel like pillows, but still solid. Awesome shoes. I can't believe I can feel so passionately about shoes! I am normally just a cheap butt, but I have paid more than three times this much for less foot pain relief. These are well worth it. Going to buy another pair next paycheck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid, great looking work shoe. Honestly I did not like these things at all when I tried them on but several co-workers wear them and swear by them so I figured maybe the problem was me. I couldn't get my foot into them without a lot of effort and the first few hours wearing them was pretty uncomfortable. I started to regret buying them. But then, as I started to break them in, they began to get more and more comfortable. They looked great and I got several compliments on how good they look. I'm actually falling in love with these boots. If you can just get past the initial wearing in phase with these, I promise you, you will love them too. Just a fantastic boot that looks great and are built to last.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very durable I bought Romeo's cause my co-workers swear buy them(one has had his for 2+ years). They feel great once they are broken in, but the durability is questionable. My first pair lasted six months before the toe split and the heel broke away from the sole. I had bought at Fred Meyer's and was passed the return date. I decided to purchase a 2nd pair thinking maybe i got a defective pair since my co-workers lasted so long. Same issue as before. Also have another guy who just got new ones and he swears by his 2+ yrs old high top Romeos , but is having the same issue with his new pair, and his toe is starting to crack. Not sure if the manufacturing process has changed, outsourced? I think they are a great boot for a weekend warrior, but not meant to be an everyday construction boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most comfortable work boot yet My husband has been searching for the perfect work shoe for years and this might be it (we'll see how it holds up - just purchased a week ago - but wanted to review fit). He's between a 12 and 13, with 12W usually fitting the best. The 12W fit perfectly. At first he thought the ankle was too tight, but he has been really wanting a pull on shoe. He wore them around the house for a few hours before deciding to give them a try on the job. Loved them. Just wasn't used to the pull on style yet. No wear in time. A week in and he says they're the most comfortable work shoe he's ever had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable and the price is great! These are my slippers. I work for a western retail store and I have to wear my western boots every day. But when I am at home these were my go to's (I have switched to the wedge sole). Very comfortable and affordable. The leather holds up well under all moderate conditions. Oil the leather to keep the uppers healthy. My only gripe is they get a bit slippery. They are not a slip resistant boot so be careful on polished concrete and wet asphalt. The sole wears quickly (a bit less than a year) but they are only $85. Also the only break in they need is the elastic around the ankle. If you have a wide foot it will be difficult to get your foot into this boot but once the elastic breaks in (a few days) they are a great boot.
